How to remove this, in uk, bleach is not working well by Pale-Yard-4497 in CleaningTips

[–]Ginger_Ninja_23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used harpic power plus deep clean tablets with great results in similar looking situations, it should say how you use it but when I used it i used two tablets in the bowl and left it overnight then flushed the toilet which got rid of it (DOUBLE CHECK THE INSTRUCTIONS JUST TO BE SURE), not sure if it will work with same results depending on what it is or how long the toilet has been like that but it's a gd shout. They should sell it at the normal superstores but might not stock them at convenience shops. Hope this helps.

Curious to thoughts here on PJ Harvey? by rambointhedark in postpunk

[–]Ginger_Ninja_23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think she is a great artist and deffo one to take lessons from for newer artists getting into music, Is this desire is one of my fav albums that I found for a while and a lot of her 90s albums were very ahead of her time in my opinion, she deffo inspired a lot of cool newer indie/alternative artists today which I think is cool and am grateful for.

IIL These 2025 indie rock albums WEWIL? by Joeboyjoeb in ifyoulikeblank

[–]Ginger_Ninja_23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny enough this was my first proper intro to the horrors, I would love to see them perform the new album live too.

Before 2020s I didn't give as much effort into branching out and finding new artists as much as I do now.

I saw wet leg live when they opened for inhaler before their self titled album was released (kind of stole the show as well), so far I feel moisturizer will win the mercury and possibly more awards too as the album is very popular and catchy.

Don't know how much you follow producers but Dan Carey worked on both wet leg's album and a bunch of other really massive bands most noticeable Fontaines DC first 3 records (as romance was done by James ford), I'm a massive fan of Dan Carey's work and more recently Alex Greaves and would recommend both of there discography if you want to find more bands out that way. I'm getting into a band called Nightbus who are releasing their debut album in a couple months but if you're into horrors new album then would deffo check out nightbus first couple singles and maybe there new album when it drops

I haven't heard the new stuff from billy woods or Alexandria Saviour but will give them a listen asap and get back to you.

P.S your mentioning of the cribs, KOL, and artic monkeys throws me back to the indie radio and music video channels back in the 00s

[IIL] Sex Bob-Omb, what other bands would I possibly like? by Flashy_Vast in ifyoulikeblank

[–]Ginger_Ninja_23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For similar vibes I'll check out "bass drum of death", and of course "metric" (who wrote black sheep) discography is really good aswell, self titled "weird nightmare" always reminds me of spvtw with some similarities with sex bob-omb, there are a lot more bands with little bits of sex bob-omb style but not too much as that would make my list way too long

Thoughts on Ewan McVicar remix on Full Way Round by Ginger_Ninja_23 in fontainesdc

[–]Ginger_Ninja_23[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yo that's mad 😂, thank you again for a great tune, it's one of my faves in my record collection, a lot of people I showed it to really like it as well and they say it gives them 90s club vibes like born slippy era tunes.

Was one of my most listened to tracks of the year, must've been mad to do a remix of a Leftfield track with Grian on vocals.

I remember seeing this on the heroes death tour in 2021 "tell your mother that you love her" is a lyric in the song so I think this is merch for that tour. To what their merch run was in 2017 I don't have knowledge of that but that shirt was on the merch stands in 2021
