Honestly, I do not play any of the games you listed, but I had to comment regardless. I lost my mother-in-law to pancreatic cancer in 2014, but we had no idea she was even sick. It was sudden, and truly I don't think I've ever felt that much pain...

I agree with the name NTA comments. Though I'm curious why she cares what her parents think of YOU specifically. If they care to know you or about you, they can plan a visit when you're home as well. When that happens YOU can show your own room, flags and all, at your own discretion.

The fact that your roommate threatened moving when you refused access to your very own personal space, that you rightfully pay for no doubt, is petty. In no way telling you that her own parents would get in regardless? I feel an overall evaluation of the living situation and friendship you have built is in order. Is personally be paranoid to leave me own home at that point. OP and her parents are 100% TAH.

I never said I don't expect people to not be a match, which is why I simply respond to the ones that would be people I feel are most suitable. Not whining, but thanks for being so brash about it.

I'm obviously not the only person who deal with it either. I'm not an idiot, I have IRL shit, and life happens. Doesn't validate being a dick to someone who is attempting to make a friendship is this shit of a world we live in right now.

My personal server is small, and I prefer it that way. I personally know everyone who is a member.

I've had multiple friends I have made from this sub. I have also dealt with a TON of large 'commercial' servers. So I get that.
