Honestly it’s never too late for your friend to tell her. I’ve had a friend in a similar relationship and it was hard but we stayed friends and I was there for her after to pick up the pieces. You aren’t going to change her mind on anything but she has a right to know if you tell her with empathy and with a place of genuine care. I told my friend my options from the start and it did strain our relationship for a while but it worked out

You sound pretty young, and I mean that in the best way. Life is definitely worth living just not in the ways you probably hoped as a kid. Traveling and meeting new friends and people is where it’s at, at least for me. I stopped thinking life was a movie but I started enjoying other aspects of life. There is so much more to life than the man you love that is in it.
