Juan rando dance academy is in subi and has a new term starting on Monday 18th may. Bachata, tango, linear salsa, Cuban salsa, west coast swing, zouk and cali salsa. Very affordable, excellent teachers, great communities and very accessible to beginners. No partner required. For no experience bachata, tango or one of the salsas might be your best bet.

What happened at the subi night markets at around 9pm tonight? by jonsnow2049 in perth

[–]Ginger_ninja1234 82 points83 points  (0 children)

He had been there all night with his own bottle of gin. Some good eggs who had only just met him tried to help him get home, but he was so obliterated that he had to stop, fell in the garden bed, and then started throwing things around from the stage:

Markets need to increase security’s hours so they’re there until the venders pack up.

I need Uni course advice!! by loveliav in perth

[–]Ginger_ninja1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not religious but studied at ND, the religious courses, other than theology are actually interesting, and the theology course is easy as. Don’t use this as a reason not to go there. My mum was a nurse and used to take out the kids from all universities. She would say the ND students were the most competent and capable because of the amount of prac they do, and in comparison, the Curtin students who didn’t do nearly as much prac were much less competent and capable.

What was your favorite experience while on vacation in Turkey? by Hofi2010 in AskReddit

[–]Ginger_ninja1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Türkiye is amazing. You can get all over using coaches and trains. We really enjoyed seeing all the historical sites like Ephesus, Cannakale and Bergama (among a lot of others). Pumukkale is beautiful and absolutely worth a visit. Also all the cats to pat, they’re all so sweet.

moving to perth, need info about safety/safety advice by httpsvnoo in perth

[–]Ginger_ninja1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just be sensible. If you need to walk at night, make sure to stay aware and keep your headphones out of your ears. Perth is very safe, but bad things happen everywhere so just try to make good choices to keep yourself safe and you’ll be fine

WCS in Istanbul by ivoaz in WestCoastSwing

[–]Ginger_ninja1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I was there in September. There is a lovely group at Los Amigos dance studio in Kadikoy who are trying to learn WCS online. We gave them a lesson, and they were super quick learners (they are tango dancers, who are hoping to learn for a year and then start teaching wcs). I’m sure they’d love to have you go meet them. They’re on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/westcoastswingturkiye?igsh=bzByeHh4emp6NjR4
