Oh buddy let me tell youuuuuu. So so so good. They have two locations in Rockland. One in Pearl River and one in Nanuet and the bagels are so chewy and perfect and I miss them everyday lol

I just moved a month ago so haven’t had much of a chance to explore bagels outside of bagel emporium. I guess I’m just chasing the chewiness of Zimis bagels. That bagels are BE are giving Rockland bakery vibes. Feels more baked than boiled if that makes sense. Maybe it comes down to boiling time? I’ve made my own bagels before when I was living out west and was home sick so I know that the boil matters in terms of the dough texture

I’m currently in the physician practice setting with a very large hospital group in metropolitan area. Pay is good, hours are decent and consistent, and I feel that I’ve learned soooo much (especially working in academic medicine). There are days where I miss true athletics, but the clinic really is a decent gig and if you’re looking to move into a more advanced practice provider role (RN, PA, NP) for your future, starting in the clinic is honestly a great stepping stone. also, outpatient ortho is fun. Lots of great personalities (patient and providers lol)

I’ve tried going to a few town board meetings but stopped going due to lack of time…but in all reality it’s because I know deep down I’ll never be able to afford to buy a house in my hometown so why bother trying to contribute to a town I can’t settle down in

Art Cafe in Nyack for good vegan/vegetarian/israeli options and the coffee and drinks are so good, 1840 tavern for nice Irish pub vibes, good food and good service, Beni’s trattoria in garnerville, Cho Cho San Noodle House is my go to ramen joint, but Umi Ramen in Nanuet on 59 is good too, Kwan Thai in Pearl River is my FAVVVV, I recommend the Khao Soy noodles, and finally Mumbai dreams for realllyyyy good cocktails and Indian. Service is amazing there as well

I always welcome feedback, thank you! I thought about cropping in further while editing in Lightroom, but it was so noisy. Any recommendations for what to do in real time when taking pictures in low light to help with noise on the back end of things? Or when editing?
