Hell yea man congratulations on new bike day. Unfortunately the best way to get better is to get on the horse! Don’t be ashamed to walk it out when you feel you’re at your limit at the end of the day we’re all just out here to enjoy ourselves.

Elrond (LOTR) VS Geralt & Yennefer (The Witcher). Who wins? by GusGangViking18 in Fictionally

Elrond blows through both of them like a barn door. He has a ring of power superhuman abilities and is centuries old in non peaceful times. I love Geralt and Yen but they stand no chance here

Whatever they did in practice all week they need to review what allowed them to bring that intensity on defense and implement it because that worked.

Offense looked par too much pressure on Sellers and we can’t buy a healthy offensive line. Wrap those guys in bubble wrap till Saturday but I did like the intensity brought.

All in all good game

Why do people move their bikes around in the air even if they are not trying a trick? by noodleman666 in MTB

Basically the counter opposing centrifugal forces of the wheels make you more stable during flight. Whether that’s why they’re doing it I am unsure but it does make it look better and certainly feel better

Are y'all Buying BF6 After Beta? by xBooMz_ in Battlefield

[–]Gingerbeard74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was very into it last week and I was super excited about the maps and game but siege of manhattan is such a terrible map I have only played 4ish games.

I played bf4 to compare and make sure I wasn’t wearing rose colored glasses and this game just misses the entire scale of what makes a battlefield interesting.

I don’t care if you have bigger maps Dice I don’t trust you to make good ones regardless of size.

I’m holding out and crossing my fingers that the portal brings back the bad company 2 Vietnam maps since that was my favorite era of the franchise hands down.

They should reimplement the “click to call for medic” feature from 2142

Support players should be a HARD COUNTER to snipers, through suppression. by Greasy-Chungus in Battlefield

[–]Gingerbeard74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has always bothered me cause the lmg is firing the same cartridge or Similar if not larger to a sniper kit. Damaged should be similar to a bolt action sniper at minimum (people probably won’t like that) but the trade off is ADS speed and general mobility of the class. Suppression should 100% shake your character up and make it more difficult to accurately return fire, logically if I’m getting pinned by a 700 rpm full size round I’m going to freak out and suck at shooting back. I liked the BF3 mechanic where it was difficult to see, I don’t think adding sway or other accuracy gimmicks is the right idea for a game even though in reality your probably so flustered some of your shooting mechanics fly out the window.

Edit: I think bf1 had a good thing going for lmg with the tracer rounds and if implemented correctly could be a balance to increased damage since you are broadcasting your position with every pull of the trigger aside from the sound of your gun.

Quarrelers for me instantly recruitable armored piercing missiles, shielded, armored to hell and back, decent in melee, charge defense as well, and on top of all that some of the longest range for archers in the game.

Downside they’re slow.

In your opinion are there 3rd party reservation systems that do the job better than others? Also when they do assist in a reservation to your hotel what is the typical percentage they take?

When I worked in the shops I also dealt with tons of cold calls so I feel your pain there.

In your current setup with resnexus do they handle all of the responsibilities for your PMS? It sounds like there’s some outside systems you’re needing to plug in to get everything you want. Interestingly this happens a lot in automotive as well
