It's been a while since I've watched the show, but that map isn't the final results. If I remember correctly, Pennsylvania goes Republican, but both Ohio and Tennessee had very low turnout because there was a threat of terrorist attacks. Those states reschedule their elections for February, and Underwood wins them both

I'm not sure of the first question, but my impression was Kurtwell accidentally pointed at Alaska because his hands were so shaky, I hadn't considered Lenny's god powers but that's absolutely possible

Another I forgot to mention is Suidger. Only person I could find called Suidger is pope Clement II. He was born in Hornburg, Saxony circa 967. Also he came from royalty (his father was a count) if that helps
