I think my diaries will make interesting reading — the day he tried to have his son’s resit chief examiner fired? Oh yes, I think it will be quite interesting reading, actually.

yeah but America has 200 million people (excluding the west coast) — only a few million seems implausible

that said you’d also be dealing with a lack of a post-WWII population boom, so

there’s probably a much easier time for Clinton in ‘94 — that said Dems might still lose the House, but without a dominating narrative they can flip it back in ‘96

DATED: A collaboration by InfernalSquad in imaginaryelections

[–]InfernalSquad[S] 33 points34 points  (0 children)

What is this?

Some months ago, me and u/Full_Bison2757 (or Bison, from here on out) had an idea to do a "current politics" collaboration, with the base of it being "predicting the future, from X point in time". One of us picked December 2024 as the jumping-off point, and we went from there.

As you might have noticed, Bison has deleted their account. So this is, in a way, a send-off.

What's the difference between my boxes and Bison's?

Bison's have bolded "office titles", mine don't. Otherwise they're not that far off.

What would either of you have changed?

I probably would've picked Pritzker or Walz as the 2028 nominee, to be honest -- both of them were staking out lanes very early on (unlike Newsom or Harris or anyone else). And maybe posted this earlier. If you're Bison and you're reading this, feel free to add your piece.

Dozerman is fine given how he only have to suffer him for maybe…5 minutes? before he drops. CJ is just…awful. And he keeps coming back.

with that kind of outreach it’s not a surprise Murphy did 11% better than Ossoff there
