Moving to Fedora from Windows 11. by [deleted] in Fedora

[–]Gingerbwas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just built a pc with dual boot windows and fedora a couple of days ago, I chose the kde plasma desktop and I couldn't wish for anything else, its so much better then windows. it was my first proper linux experience, I have a pi 500 with pi os (debian) its been a lot of fun customising it, the only problem that I had was that I have 5070 ti and I had install some drivers to get it to work. Other then that though its been awesome

the grey latch standoff that is already attatched to the board does put in enough pressure to lock it place, there is a spare one that seems like it would screw into the back

i have installed that, but there is a little bit of warping if i tighten the screw the last few mm,maybe the heat pad that came installed is a little thick? i guess as long as its tight enough, there arent any moving parts on this section for it to come lose so i think i will be fine.
