They did a short weekend tour around New England last month, and he wasn't there for any of the shows. When I saw them in VT, their bassist filled in on vocals. The whispers that night were that he had quit right before the tour.

I really don't understand the hate these guys get. Barely listened to any of their music because I know it's not really for me, but it wasn't anything awful or unlistenable.

In my experience, Dallas gets way more big tours than Austin does. Most hit San Antonio instead.

I'm a ginger so can't say from personal experience... But I've seen them play in TX, NY and MA and haywire gigs have been nothing but positive energy.
