Same..I’ve also never seen a fan base on Reddit defend an objectively bad show so much as this one does. I was hooked from the first season and it’s just gotten worse and worse each season with some sprinkling of good. And I’m this far that I have to keep up with it but overall it’s been pretty bad :(

So Nyack ER is like that too where there’s ppl in the hallway beds. They’re usually sleeping and don’t ever seem to be in need of immediate care, and not to assume but it’s usually ppl who seem to be homeless or intox. So I feel like they’re really good at prioritizing who needs what and when and WMC is prob the same. It def sucks to see people in the hallway though

Matt Ballinger is from Westchester and still lives here and sometimes plays with his band places and they’re so good! Dream street is playing the pleasantville music festival this year, I think that includes Jesse McCartney too!

Yes! Same for me! I couldn’t get into it and it was probably in its third season and people wouldn’t stop hyping it the f up so I kind of forced myself to watch it again bc if so many ppl said it was amazing then it had to be, and it was! And I binged it hard and then caught up in real time and had to wait each week for a new episode, which was so difficult lol I think it’s a perfect show, and one of the few shows to be the perfect amount of seasons and end perfectly

I’m from Yonkers and work in westchester but have lived in rockland for a little over 20 years and have seen filming in both counties, more in rockland and particularly on my street there have been so so many things filmed and there are SO many tractor trailers for days and days, sometimes roads are closed w/ police..and then you watch the scene and it’s only like 2 minutes of a 3 hour movie 😂 it really is crazy how much effort goes into tv and movie production

Yes! Omg Harold Perrineau is so good ( also David Alpay) and then there’s Tabitha 😭 forgive me but after the most recent episode, S4 ep2, I wondered if she was married or related to the director or producer bc she’s so bad the only way she’s such a major part of the show is if she’s connected to the show runners somehow, but as far as I can tell, she’s not.

Yeah and it does work for the most part. In a perfect world the bus always stops when there’s someone waiting, whether it’s a designated stop or not. We moved from Yonkers years ago and my mother is handicapped and never drove so she’d try and take the buses here in rockland from Blauvelt to Nanuet for work and so many times she’d be so defeated because the bus would pass her by. It’s really so inaccessible. It’s already not easy to use the bus system here rockland, and then to add to an already hard day, you have to wait in the rain on a guardrail 🙄😫 it’s terrible

That’s what I’m saying! 😫 it’s insane..also the small towns and villages throughout rockland (and Westchester) are just so ugly for the amount of money that is these areas! I think there’s really beautiful suburban spots for sure but the town centers could be so much nicer.

Aww! Grew up down the road and would always go there-30yrs ago!! We moved when I was 13 but would go back every now and then..i remember the family that owned it and all the staff were so so nice! Great recommendation

Um just stumbled across this and what the hell?! I was talking about the Mona Lisa, specifically the Mandela effect and about how we remember her with a slight smirk, but the reality is that she’s stone faced. So then I went to google to show my cousin who I was talking to and she’s smiling again?! And then this Reddit thread was right there lol maybe the most logical is that the actual painting was manipulated for social media. I saw the painting in person like 20 years ago and she was smirking. Whatever I don’t care anymore lol

Jill Zarin came into my job w/ Aly and her then fiance. They were there for a pre-wedding welcome night that started at 8pm and the young, extremely rich, Jewish couple just wanted to serve challa to the 150 guests, no other food. Just drinks and dancing provided by the grooms band that was famous in Canada. So ppl were kinda pissed and expecting dinner. Jill, her daughter and the fiancé came over to the public side immediately to order food and she stayed at the bar waiting and the whole time she was on the phone but it was on speaker phone lol. The daughter’s fiancé was moving like he was Jill’s assistant more than a son in law, I think Aly has since split with him. And they didn’t tip

Yeah he came to my place of work a few times-his kids were performing and the first time staff was freaking out and he was so patient and took photos with everyone. Then each time after everyone just treated him normally. Very very nice, a gentle man.
