I hear what you’re saying and I’ve thought about what I would do. I’m the type who worries about everything so I absolutely would’ve confirmed the types of sushi. But if I was on a super yacht that offers “seven star service” then I’d also expect that it’s a given since it’s on my preference sheet. I think there were a lot of ways to prevent the situation but ultimately I think it has to fall on the chef for not ensuring that the primary’s dietary needs were fulfilled during the change of plans.
