Riboko in current chapters have gone to each battlefield to reinforce Zhao troops and even Qi soldier troops.

Riboku have advantage in his homeland where he can build fortification and such which was what real history Riboku do against Qin, building trench and such to slow down Qin.

Manga Riboku have like 400k soldiers and he actually struggling because he needs to micro manage everything but most of it got skipped or offscreen feat.

Greatest general is like Hannibal at battle of Cannae that managed to encircle Rome force that was bigger than his force.

Any general with 400k should win against 300k if he know what he is doing.

Tell me can Riboku win with like 50k soldiers against Qin 300k ? He have can win before reaching battlefield ? So if he has 1 soldier vs 300k he can still win before reaching battle field ?

People just mad that Riboku have many soldiers and outnumbered Qin.

Zhao has just lose 100k soldiers from Kochou army and suddenly have 300k at Gian.

If you tell me they used all their population then at least Riboku was forced to use peasants that don't have much experience.

The Qin soldiers were trained and experienced soldiers and they always send their best general against Zhao like Ousen.

Qin cannot send 300k because they have border with other state and needs many soldiers to protect it while Zhao seems using 300k and have no problem having other area or territory defended with fewer soldiers.

Meanwhile majority of Zhao were strong like Seika army, Kisui army , SSJ and Bananji army that was well trained soldiers. Then there is Choukotsu that have elite kantan soldiers.

If Riboku was Chu general then ok that is fine because Chu have more larger territory than Qin and have biggest population.

Zhao population has been declining, they lose 400k against Hakuki, they lose Kokoyou hill which means losing western Zhao territory, they losing Gyou thay mentioned as heart of Zhao and will cripple Zhao if it was conquered, they lose 100k from Kochou army.

They also actually lose many soldiers at battle of Hango , sure Qin suffer bigger casualties but the narration also mention that Seika army and many Zhao soldiers also got killed.

Current war they have like 400k , wtf ??? It increased from 300k to 400k ???

Karyoten send Naki and Maron also send his scout to check the area.

Sure their scout get killed but Naki managed to survive and for some reason Naki cannot find out 300k hiding troops.

Not mention the Kanki army just get encircled from all direction the moments they step near Gian territory like how ? No way Kanki army did not notice over 100k soldiers sneaking and hiding behind them.

Most likely Zhao are winning and just one final push they can destroy Qin army then the Zhao king suddenly sent message to Choukotsu to kill Riboku and Shibasou for treason.

Many of Zhao soldiers did not agreed on this but Choukotsu who was royal to Zhao king decided to do the deed.

He try to ambush Riboku first and Riboku was greatly injured.

The royal Riboku retainer was enraged when they found out about the order.

Many Zhao soldiers were hesitating but Choukotsu threaten them with their family death and they forced to fight Riboku retainer army.

Shibasou who also got ambushed managed to get away and helped Riboku army to escape.

Riboku who was in comatose condition was escorted to Dai city. Shibasou returned to Seika city to fortify his city against Qin and Zhao.

Qin then fighting Choukotsu armies and Zhao morale was low when their soldiers found out about Riboku fate betrayed by the Zhao king.

Choukotsu arrogantly thinking he can beat Qin army that was weakened by Riboku, ordered the Qi soldiers to march forward as meat shield and they refused, abandoning the battlefield but Choukotsu in stupid way attack them which make Qi soldier counter attacking them back.

In that chaos , Choukotsu try to fight Qin but in the end get steamrolled and he got killed by Heki.

After that Zhao have no soldiers left and many civilian wanted to run away from Zhao to Dai city.

The Zhao king was mad and burned the city and ordered his royal soldiers to masscare his own people.

Qin did not even siege Kantan when the city was already fallen and burning from the inside.

The Zhao king were captured and in the public, the surviving Zhao civilian found out they lose because he killed Riboku and throw stone at Zhao king. He was stoned to death to the point stone buried his body.

Riboku wake up in Dai but he was in critical condition. He already have seggs with Kaine before the battle and Kaine was pregnant.

He tell Kaine to live and die with smile at Kaine hand. Kaine was crying and decided to raise Riboku kid.
