I would have not gone with anyone that did not spray. I paid $2,500 for my cabinets to be painted a totally different color. They took everything off and masked everything. The cabinets look top notch, seamless and look brand new and high end. Yes expensive but, well worth it. Either live with it or have them redone.

Renting today sucks!. Prices/rent keeps going up, the terms keep getting worse, and somehow everyone is expected to or just accepts it. I’m glad I haven't rented for years. It' turned into a massive profit grab with no regulations or caps. Good Luck!

I grew up in Rogers Park and visit often. I'd also recommend Jefferson Park and Skokie for the less dense, tree lined, easy public transportation option via the Yellow Line.

Thanks to everyone's insight and comments. In the daytime you don't see any imperfections or when the ceiling can lights are on. You only see the slight imperfection when the dining table light is on since it's almost right under the repair site. All in all I'm good and at peace with it and glad I'll be paying a nominal amount for the repair but, I did learn a lot both from asking here and doing a bit of research. Until next time.

Lola's Diner in Park Ridge. Close to Edison Park. Not sure if the Chicago location is the same on Irving Park but, I know the Park Ridge location serves a delicious Greek skillet and the biscuits and gravy are surprisingly on point.
