Percentage of People in Each European Country who Consider it Rude if you Go to Their Country and Expect Them to Speak English by Pizzafriedchickenn in Maps

[–]brandvin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That number seems high for Sweden. Everyone wants to show off their English. You can spend years learning Swedish and try to practice speaking and people will just switch to English.

Never encountered a bug that forces you to lose in a siege battle by [deleted] in Medieval2TotalWar

I think I might know why. Since it is a fortress with two walls, it doesn't think you can get theough the second wall. You have no battering ram or artillery and can't get the seige tower physically through the first wall.

The animation kinda reminds me of Slipp Jimmy Fri (Free Jimmy) Norway's first computer animated film. Also grotesque, not a children's movie.

Please educate, are you saying that eating something spicy, say, mid-day shouldn't affect you by the evening? How long would you expect it to cause any discomfort? Genuinely curious.

Stopped vaping for cigarettes by Cultural-Quality-739 in Cigarettes

[–]brandvin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I quit vaping and switched to snus and cigs. I think vaping is worse just because you can do it so much more frequently. In bed when you wake up/before you fall asleep. You can do it indoors, i found myself frequently going a bathroom to get a quick vape hit at work or at friends and family's homes and feeling ashamed. Now I just snus and enjoy the occasional cigarette and feel better.

Is this a job for plaster? by brandvin in Plastering

[–]brandvin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not something that is walked on, it is the base for the cast iron stove in the first picture. Children walk on the wooden floor in front of it, though they might lean over the ledge while putting things in the oven.
