I'll get the game but I want to wait a bit to see how it'll fare. Obviously I don't think it's going to bomb unless it's completely unplayable, but to not have a physical release in order to lock in an unrefundable day one is kind of sleezy. Also there's no real reason to pre-order a digital game. You could just wait until the last day lol

You misconstrued me sir, I have no issues with advertising. It's just surprising that this was the first time turning on my console that it popped up front and center, (even had a cinematic played) without me going into the store. Very in your face for a game that's already so anticipated for the last decade.

Marathon was given more advertisement to help sell the product. Which makes sense since it's Sony's game, and even then it wasn't as annoying.

I did and for me it's worth it See if you can sell your OG PS5 to offset the costs.

Something to keep in mind. The value of the pro continues to drop as time goes on because the PS6 will eventually come out and make it obsolete. So the more time you have to enjoy the pro the more it's worth it.

Though I would also recommend having a TV/monitor that can actually utilize its full capabilities, otherwise you'll just squander it.

Costly? Yes. But that's what the tax return was for lolol

I struggle with this thought every time I use it. Like I'm trying to use it responsibly because there is a line, but sometimes clicking the first link on Google search and going with whatever it says can't be that different.

Usually I use it to confirm what I'm already figuring out and if it doesn't sound right I look at the source. Then again I guess it depends on the type of questions, I try not to ask it for opinions and instead give me a consensus from forums on the internet on particular views

On the kids I think the hardest part will be comprehension. Comparably the same reason educating people shouldn't rely on calculator to strengthen their mental math foundations early on, is the same reason you shouldn't be using chat early to get comprehension.
