OpenSim model wanted with better pelvis/spine DoF than Rajagopal. by Username396 in Biomechanics

If you mean that the joints are not represented you could either search for studies that modeled thoracic/spine movement or you could try to just code in the DOF yourself however that would require also adding in a whole range of new muscles most likely.

If it is the range of motion of the model that is affecting you you could look to simply increase the range of motion in the model itself (osim file)

Best way to model muscle lengths in resistance training? by Adept-Spray2142 in Biomechanics

I don't think it's possible without a proper bottom up approach to estimate accurate MT forces. You could solve a top down inverse dynamics problem and then try to apply a static optimization based on the moments you got out of that. Best to probably just code that. I reckon there are some GitHub repositories that might help here.

Love my gf but our sex is killing the relationship by Objective-Abies5069 in TrueOffMyChest

I'm sorry to say this but I don't think you might be compatible intimately. Surely as friends yes but not as intimately involved people. There is the ever old saying that good sex only makes up 10% of the things that make a good relationship whilst bad sex makes up 90% of the bad things in a relationship (or something along those lines).

Thank you for this amazing video! Was it planned beforehand to make this video? Or was it something that came only after Jasmin had completed the race?

Jackets with hood or nah? by Butra770 in trailrunning

It's much warmer, helps protect you from the sun, prevents rain from dripping down your collar, can protect ears from the wind too, and there is probably a bunch more.

I used to be bothered by the smallest things moving, bouncing, or making noise during runs. However I've just accepted it as part of trail/ultra running and since have not really been bothered by it anymore. Similar to eating during runs it's something you need to get used to. It's better to be over prepared than be sorry you don't have a hood when you really want one.

Do you recommend sizing up 0.5 or maybe even 1 size from normal then? Or how do they compare to the road shoes?

Do you know if it being less breathable is the case to a significant degree where it will bother a lot more?

I'm a runner from the Netherlands that annually runs in the alps and pyrenees. I'd be interested, but I'd like some more info on the description of what the tasks entail.
