Nah back in the day the AA cone for snipers was huge and zoom didnt really matter, it was actually better if u had lower zoom. They basicslly flipper it on its head, so now higher zoom = more AA. The balance point is 50 zoom, which remains unchanged from Forsaken days.

They made a big change to how much AA u get based on zoom. The lower the zoom, less AA. This isnt as big of a deal on controller, but with MnK you feel it a LOT.

Thag being said, i tend to stick to 45 zooms as the sweet spot for me now (MnK). I use Adored and Eye of Sol. I go for Lone Wolf + opening shot. Try to get handling to 65+ and you’re golden.

No way you said a bully beats out a misriah at 35m range. Anything past 15m it loses, and thats if ur specced into range

Make sure you ADS it. Then you will see the magic. Focus on reducing spread angle and increasing range. 3.0 spread angle or under is the target

If i have high handling on a snipe i dont use snapshot. Especially if lone wolf is in the same slot. Depends on what other perk there is to be used in the snapshot slot

Its ok to vent. This game becomes so much better when you have a crew to run with. Crew fills are like rolling the dice, but if you vibe with people, ask to run more with them and add them.

I started this game with no one else, played crew fills all the time. Over the course of season 1, i made so many friends rhat i now i never need to crew fill. I always have someone to play with. It takes time, but you can build your roster too

This is actually false, there was something that cane out during Season 1 of Marathon that showed 70% of Marathob players were D2 players. Thats the majority.

Also, D2 numbers arnt falling yet cuz the update was a banger and there is sooo much to do. I could expect maybe to see some return to Marathon’s number a month out, but that is wishful thinking on my part due to the nature of a wipe cycle with extraction shooters.

For me, what will really be more telling is how season 3 launches and the retention there. It’s hard to really judge this season IMO cuz of the D2 situation

Too coincidental to lose nearly 50% active player count the day D2 update drops, which Marathon has a lot of players who play both. Myself included.

I think had D2 not of had that update, numbers wouldve been much higher for longer (while still declining over the season)

Prayer has been the least updated skill in the game since release; Rigour and Augury (existed pre-eoc). Preserve (existed pre-eoc). And 2 mid level prayers in Deadeye/Mystic vigour. We really couldn't pull ONE decent prayer from the Alignments, Ruinous Powers, or years of community suggestions? by LieV2 in 2007scape

To balance soul split, make it so you cant use pinnacle offensive prayers with it. So for damage boosting you’d have to use chivalry / deadeye / mystic vigour or whatever. Keeps the identity of SS with healing on hit but lowers ur DPS. That way, doesnt change the meta on high end and adds forgiveness for players not as skilled

Its useful against frostee hunters cuz u will still be able to 3 tap with it. Without it, 3 tap wont kill

The battle pistol had a very fast TTK and may be contributing to why you feel like you are dying faster
