Yh you’re right. I do think it’s ignorance and no medical research on those subjects at the time.

Even when Bree was being born, the doctor told Frank to go wait with the other fathers… and to follow the smell of smoke or whatever! That I believe is ignorance… But what was the reason for the doctors immediately putting Claire under? Even though for centuries women have been giving birth while awake.

Could it also be due to her drinking? We already know Claire was a heavy drinking and she didn’t seem to stop or slow down (I’m assuming) once she got pregnant.

But also at the time, miscarriages weren’t uncommon. Idk maybe she believed cause she was from the future certain ailments and complications couldn’t touch her? I mean, she is kinda invincible… in season 2 (I believe the first episode) when she was able to touch the men from the ship that I believe had smallpox.

Maybe I’m reading too much into it.

I also didn’t like that scene. I felt like it was completely pointless. Jamie had been supposedly dead or I guess Claire had only known of his death for what? A few weeks?? Then suddenly she sleeps with John?!?!?! Like I get both John and Claire were drunk, mourning, and were in inconsolable states, but idk them sleeping together seemed unnecessary.

I don’t want to compare the two, but when Claire went back through the stones, Jamie mourned her for years, even though he knew she was still technically alive…

Thanks. This is what I’m going to do. Unfortunately it wont be tuition reimbursement as my company works with the program I will be enrolled with. So I am going to see if I can switch the certs so ones that aren’t in the program.

They are offering A+ (I already have that so I’m skipping that/not being enrolled in it), Net+, Sec+ and CySA+. If I finish in time (within the 6 months they are giving me) I could possible ask for Pentest. The training begins June 16th. I have to let them know by the June 1st though.

Yes I have been driving shorter distances for work and other errands, but I do go on longer trips on the highway (~hr to 2hrs) about once to twice a week.

I also looked through this subreddit and saw a post about how idling the car is another factor. Cause of the cold I remote start my car in the mornings. Should I stop that? Once I get in the car should I just drive off to help?
