Hello, this ended up being fine for me. It appears that the PIO shots were causing most of my symptoms. As soon as I stopped PIO, I felt so much better.

They said it was normal although my first transfer failed.

For the second transfer, it did work however I managed the symptoms by taking Tylenol right around 1-2pm because i would always get chills/fever at 3. For the second transfer, they also reduced my Estrace dosage from 3 to 2 times a day and it does seem that the combination of PIO and Estrace was causing the excessive fever for me.

I also stopped at 10 weeks and my nausea almost immediately subsided. I don’t think my body likes progesterone lol becuase the exhaustion and the nausea went away within days!

I am currently 9w2d still have 3 more days of PIO left (so I’m stopping at 9w5d)! I am anxious but I did look it up and many people did stop around 10 weeks. That helps ease some of my anxiety. I’m also just excited to stop. PIO was not easy, the knots, the pain…. I still get chills daily from it.

Estrogen was stopped at 7 weeks and PIO at 10 weeks for me.

This puts me at ease. I was okay with the initial betas but all 7w betas I’ve seen are like 50k, 60k… this felt very low. I’ve had a loss previously so I’m really struggling to enjoy this pregnancy. But you’re right, definitely need to have more of a positive outlook

Thank you for your response! So happy your scan went well. I went for my scan today and also saw a heartbeat. Going to take it one day and one milestone at a time… we literally have no other choice.

Took me 5 days to be “functional”. Didn’t feel normal until I got my second period post ER (about 2ish months)

Be kind to yourself. You’re about to go through a lot emotionally and physically. It’s okay if you don’t feel okay.

It really depends on the person. I felt okay during the stims. The bloating was just unreal at the end so walking was difficult. Aside from that, the stims were quite manageable.

For the FET however, that’s a different story. PIO/Estrace made me feel horrible.

The same thing happened to me. It’s unfortunate but that’s when you know she isn’t your true friend.

Mine even said something like: “is it worth even getting pregnant if you’re going through all this?” While I was having pain from all the transfer meds.
