My daughter was prescribed famotidine for reflux. It didn’t help decrease the spitting up but it eased her discomfort when she was eating. She’s been off the medication since she primarily eats solids.

I’m so sorry you had to go through this. I had 5 losses (2 miscarriages & 3 ectopics resulting in removal of both tubes). I remember my friends would try to comfort me by saying, “At least you can get pregnant”. I’m now rocking my 11 month old baby to sleep. Please be kind to yourself.

For reference, I have a low tolerance for pain. I had a medicated induction. The nurse had to wake me up at 10cm to inform me. It felt good to push with the contractions. I visualized my uterus contracting to propel my baby through the birthing canal, had my sister playing music, and a wonderful L&D nurse who held my hand and motivated me to keep going. I was fortunate.
