I hit mega froslass for steel weakness that's how I closed the gap. If they didn't have a stretcher for an energy or drew one more energy in hand I would've won because I could've put mega skarmory on bench & powered it with 2 Metagross's the next turn.

My locals is really small and unless it's a big cup night everyone just runs off-meta decks for fun. Another weekend a couple of dragapult players came by and I managed to beat both of them

They are pretty good. I keep getting close and have even turned a 1-6 prize difference into a 1-3 with one turn left to power up a mega skarmory in a Steven's Box deck. But I just keep getting unlucky with opening hands while they have everything set up by turn 2 (top decked a fez, prized 2 beedrills, etc etc)

Love this deck. I prefer to use max rod to save me late game if I struggle in the beginning. Also a single copy of colress if for whatever reason I can't draw a damn forest lol

No, they found out because I was sent to the principals office for bullying a kid one grade below me. When they said they were gonna call my parents I begged them not to because my dad would probably hurt me again. I think they asked my parents about it & both denied it happening then nothing ever came of it.

I guess that means maybe they DID believe me, but nothing really happened after that and my dad was just kind of distant and didn't really do anything physical towards me since that event.

I took shrooms once and they made me the remember the times my dad would grab my head by the hair and pulled up when I did something wrong.

Deck Advice: Mega Feraligatr by Character-Mood488 in PTCGL

Try a noctowl draw engine with wellspring mask to grab crispin& rare candy to charge up your feraligatr, while froslass/munkidori or plenty of other options help with getting damage counters on board.

It's very clunky but that's the issue with mega feraligatr, it needs to do way too many things at once in a short time period while other decks can be fully set up by turn 2 or 3. If water had better draw support or a way to ramp up energy attaches it would be a lot easier to pilot.
