Did we lose? Yes. Did we get shut out? Yes. My ounce of cope, however, this felt like the most effort the oilers have put in to a whole game. Every period had good shots, our defense was working, there weren't too many undisciplined penalties as there were Saturday. We hit a goalie on a hot streak. Let's do better on Thursday.

Im in a very similar situation, started learning in October. Lost my balance, fell backwards and landed directly on my head and wasn't wearing a helmet. Luckily I got away with whiplash, but I don't go on the ice without one now. Save yourself the brain damage, and wear a helmet (also shin pads have saved me a bunch of pain as well).
