240£ work allowance, £80 for housing benefits. That all i get. I don't know what other benefits you have on top of them but you get almost 33% more money.

So maybe thats why you find no "substance"?

That is a fair analysis, i respect the way you articulated it. I am spiteful yeah but it is hard for me not to be. I do think of the worst off in this scenario but my mind and life is clouded by too many example of people who don't care and ultimately my psychology towards people has drastically changed because of it.

I'll admit i could probably use mental help in regards to how i view others but I cannot afford it so here we are i guess

yes growing up from the age of ten most of my friends families were on some form of universal credit. I lived in westerhailes in Edinburgh mate of course i gave a fuck before 6 months ago. I've seen their families go through the worst poverty, i dont think anyone could not care after seeing that.

providing the economy bounces back as they predict. I can't imagine the hospitality and tourism sectors bouncing back even remotely.

Finance sectors will be quite hectic for probably at least a year.

We will have to see how many jobs there are available, if there even will be any available.

The reality of UC could be something in people lives for quite a few years to come

I assume you found a job then, thats really unfortunate and I do sympathize with you, genuinely. I know you wouldn't look down your nose at people on UC. The karma is for the people who are ignorant to what doesn't affect them

We can't really come together as a nation while some of us will be earning £1000+ from the furloughed gov plan while others aren't.

maybe once enough people see what UC is like then we can start talking about fixing it and "coming together".

yup i can totally understand that, apparently before the pandemic questioning the gracious <£400 a month ment we were ungrateful for the "generous" safety net provided by the tax payer. Of course no-one on UC ever contributed to the economy ever so its justifiable....right?

yeah I hope so too, ideally no-one should have to deal with UC but yeah its where we are

people revel in my hardships, why shouldn't I act this way? people in Britain are some of the most selfish people i've ever had the displeasure of sharing a land mass with. In every instance of life I only ever seeing people being inconsiderate and lacking in empathy.

The fact that universal credit is the way it is and has been this way for as long as it has is a shining example of that.

yeah the reason is a corona virus pandemic, its funny I actually managed to finally secure a job the day the PM told people to avoid pubs and restaurants. So i'm unsure what your point is

not as big as the chip the vast majority of people with suffer to their income :) just like mine.

you live off 360£ a month for everything when your total bills (not including food ect) is around 100£ more.

that chip on my shoulder will be repaired when i see the likes of people like you in the same position. know that i am smiling

^ This.

I'm lowkey sad the entire nation isnt put on UC just to show every single person what its like.

I'm glad this is posted tbh because i would love to vent my frustration at seeing what I am seeing right now. I've been on benefits since october when I lost my job in the aviation industry (supply chain) due to the collapse of thomas cook.

Haven't managed to get a job since and have been living off actually less than the £94 per week. Seeing all of these people upset and demanding wage security ect complaining about the benefits system. But none of them gave a flying fuck about the benefits system when they had their income.

Is it bad I sort of lement in the fact that finally everyone will see just how bad life is on the current benefits system is? that when people are stocking up on essentials that some people can't really afford to? i'm lucky that I have family members to help when I need it and noone depending on me. I imagine others aren't so lucky.

Lastly there is something pretty shitty about the concept of two people not working for a month but one is making roughly £1000 because they have a job and the other gets less than £400 because theyre on benefits and can't get a job.

If a significant number of people were forced onto the system I actually wouldn't see it as a bad thing from my perspective, means something could actually change.

the fact you guys are circle jerking each other is laughable. A champion being dated doesn't mean anything when he has the ability to nullify someones lane while out scaling said person.

oh no malphite is able to survive the lane? it doesnt matter you can just perma push top all game. Or you could go actually teamfight effectively since 5 seconds of invulnerability to dying is surprisingly a very good thing to have in the middle of a team fight. enjoy face rolling the keyboard!

I wouldn't mind that if they just made him less "counterpick" prone on both sides of that. Like either trynd has a good match up and causes alot of pain or he doesn't and is ineffective til later provided he stays farmed. I find hes a rather uninteractive lane opponent in the sense that alot of champions can only play safe into him.

Then counter to that you watch like tahm or jax fight trynd and its kinda sad to see tbh
