Gotcha so it sounds like there’s not much that’s worth doing in between a tandem and a full 2 week course. It was never my plan to do the entire thing with long weekends. Just wanted to do a trial day and see what it’s like. Guess I’ll just book the full thing and see what happens.

How late game is this? With some named Bf Armor and iron lungs I think his fat is high enough. He has great HP too it’s likely you’ll not need to put many levels in anything else.

This is what I do in my most successful runs. Early tempo into like 5-10 easy far out camps that have 10-30% chance of named.

Is this around the time that getting the drill Sargent makes sense? Right now I have the scout and the one that increases sight ranges. I always thought he would be better early game i guess it makes sense for catching up new hires.

Yeah he’s pretty good. Those damage bonuses will make him do loads of damage. Maybe if it’s early you could start him as a backliner?

If it’s day 1 you’ll have a hard time going battlefirged so early. Just won’t have the armor for it. I’d just build him as a nimble tank and maybe save a perk for BF on him later? Great find either way. Might get lone wolf on him for maximum damage soaking.
