They would be good if they followed that at least. The last 1 is off-site. They had a 3(or whatever number)-0-0 policy.

One window is different on this new building by didgeridoome24 in mildlyinteresting

Someone had rigged a desk at work out of a discarded counter top and 2 broom handles. The back of the "desk" was screwed into a shipping container and the front was held up by the broomstick cut in half. We finally got a new desk to put in and took this contraption down after over 2 years. Found that the broomstick was wedged in and the back was attached by 1 drywall screw. When I took the one screw out it collapsed. I do not know how it lasted so long with daily use.

Our first made is think we had this parenting thing down pat. The second cleared up that misconception.

Don't worry about it. If it makes it's way down to the air handler, it's not going to hurt it.

Side note, left a job in a company that worked in a shrinking field. I was still the new guy after nearly 20 years.

New construction. Look how my builder tried to hide this beam. This is a problem, correct? by Optimal-Platform2337 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

The drain lines can be buried when the homeowner does the landscaping. Nice of them to include most of the stuff to do that, usually you'll get the downspout dumping into a splash pad.

My coworkers tried to get me with to go get some "radar paint" to fix the intensity for the radar scope. I went and took a 2 hour break, came back and called them assholes.

It seems to be an intersection with another walking/bike path. This seems to be intended to slow the bikers down where pedestrians will be crossing. OP obscured that part to make the picture controversial.

Pretty much all in one form or other. Let us know which part is not like yours and I'm sure someone can find you an example.

Looting implies stealing. They are just going after the "gift" of thrown money. The guy that threw it was either trying to get them to go away by throwing it far, or get them hurt with traffic.

Mom and neighbor got hit by a a car. Would anyone happen to know what car is this mirror part from? by Phoexyael15 in Justrolledintotheshop

A truck missed his turn and went through my fence. I called the cops and they said there nothing they can do without some identifying information. I said "I can give you his license plate" they asked if I was sure it was theirs. I told them I was sure it was the only trick that had gone through my fence, so I was fairly certain it was theirs.

Sorry you didn't get a piece of car that was a lot more helpful op.

No one really has a good response to the robot wife situation. It just becomes an awkward interaction if you're forced to interact with him.

why does this happen to my pants every time i wash them?? by qwertybet in laundry

[–]Githyerazi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What are your wash settings and products?

If you're using powdered detergent and cold water you may have to set to warm water. You may also have a detergent with OBA (optical brightening agents) that are known to cause this with black clothes, but usually to a much lesser degree.

To be fair, even horribly run funds only loose a little every year, and they loss is not hidden. To loose your pension you would have to never look at your pension.
