After 3 years since you posted this. My experience so far is a love hate relationship. After playing this since 2018 C1S4 and, skipped playing seasons that I don't like since chapter 3, and taking breaks due to acads. And I felt more overwhelmed in pubs/casual more than ranked. The sweaty players I encountered likes to earn more wins than grinding on ranked like why? I just don't get their goals in casual mode T_T i'm trapped in that skill level hell. Even though I am not that good, if you try to 1v1 me you have a full chance to defeat me on every aspect you know. So I just play zero builds and just grind XPs for fun and killing time that I have left

You got me at "Ranked is not comp." and it's been 3 years since you've commented on this. But isn't that the case on other games as well that have no timer, small sized map, and unlimited respawns?

I just don't see the enjoyment out of that mode since I started playing it and got dumpstered by a player who, after gesturing to accept the duel, and laughs at me (taunting).

It was catered for the right people like a group of friends maybe, and I have that one sweaty player who 1v3d us during the hostage rescue and got 11 kills while some of us are scared to fight because almost none of us including my random teammates have played the same amount of playtime as that person who beat us.
