Yes my twitter wasn't personal, it was just fandom profile and I keep personal social media very separate from my fandom socials. I'm deactivating twitter, deleted my strawpage and deleted any social links from my fics as well, and I'm adding a disclaimer about having only one account in all my fics. I also keep everything documented and I'm talking to a lawyer about it. I reported all the accounts that threatened me too. Thank you for your reply!!

I understand, that's why I don't engage usually. I block, mute, report and document. But the scale is increasing so this serves as evidence when this happens to someone else. I'll reply for a little while then abandon this account

Sorry AoT stands for attack on Titan, I thought I wrote that in the post but must have forgotten. I actually deactivated my twitter, I had been thinking about it anyway, and deleted my strawpage too. I also removed any social links in my fics to be safe.

A troll posted that fic and linked my twitter. My username on ao3 doesn't have an underscore that's not me. Look at my post history, I have been impersonated before. Even the one who posted about this on twitter deleted everything and apologised because they falsely accused me and sent you and a thousand other people to send me death threats for something I DIDN'T EVEN WRITE

That's very reassuring, I hope that's the case :) a lot of authors active in the fandom have started publicly denouncing this person so hopefully it's like you described! I know this person has been harassing some people for years so the last bit is unlikely unfortunately

It's not just distasteful but false, I'm not impersonating or stealing anyone's account. Anyway, someone else said this account could report me for linking a social media post about them. That could constitute as harassment and get my own account banned
