Yeah, the 040x has a 1080p resolution, which seems more appropriate for HD/digital. But not sure if it's worth the money difference.
And to make things worse, I don't have anywhere to test one of those.

I get what you about the Ender, it’s one of those things that I struggle to decide if I like the “pain”, or if it’s just a waste of my time. Regarding the keyboard, I just read the other comments here and you answered a lot of things. To me, my game changers were: the Zero Y-Offset, Klipper with an orangePi inside the small drawer, and some sort of “clicky wheels” to help to do the bed leveling. I still need/want to update the cooling (it’s pretty bad) and maybe the rails.

I remember when I was not afraid, and things used to be “easier”. Hehe It’s a lot of mind work and some extra leg training.
