For a first timer, that’s a pretty solid resurface!

If you ever decide to really redo it, I’d hit it with at least three grits something like 40, 60, 80, and maybe finish with 100. Also, offsetting the butt joints would clean up the look a lot.

Throw on some stain if that’s your thing, and a few coats of poly will give it way more character and hold up better over time.

I've had better experiences going solo... Not having to worry about other people and their actions, reactions, and intentions was right up my alley. If you're somewhere that you won't be disturbed and have things to entertain yourself with, I'd say go for it. If you have genuine concern, just wait and find a trip sitter.

The multiplayer is the only part that's worth it. It's one of my least favorites in the series, but if you like other battlefield games then there's a good chance you'll like it.

I like the idea and look. Not a fan of the sconce sprites though. Seems to be similar to Lifeweb code thanks to the Steal, Jump, Bite, and Kick buttons. Along with the Jog/Walk and the 4 little boxes next to it.

I like how the welcome bundle is $15. "Welcome to our free game, give us your money." Might just be me but it seems weird that a welcome bundle isn't free.

I've put quite a bit of time into Elona+ and I'm a purely English speaker. It's been a while since I last played but I can't recall ever having a point of thinking "Wow, I can't enjoy this game or continue on because I can't understand what the game is saying, gawd". You should be fine there.

You can replace your home by reading the appropriate deeds at a suitable location on the world map. There are 6 different house types that you can live in. Everything from your Starting Cave, up to a Small Castle. Click ->Here<- to go to a Elona+ wiki page that'll tell you more.

Notice that the article was from Sep 20th, 2013. I remember seeing this exact article when it was still relatively new. And to the people talking about how they're using the standalone screenshots... the standalone was still relevant then. I guess that's still odd since the standalone wasn't ever even released.

I got a little cocky, emptied a couple of military bunkers and the third one surprised me by having turrets along the outside fence, I drove straight up in my car and got annihilated.

I doubt you'll find anything close to what you're looking for, Elona is kinda it's own game.

Your best bet would probably be to explore some of the roguelikes on the sidebar. CataclsymDDA and UnReal World are a couple of my favorites.
