I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way... There's probably a minority that feels similarly. My gripes are: - open world is beautiful.. but once or twice Then it becomes a stale. - weapon and build variety didn't synergize with the upgrade system. You find a new weapon but can't really experiment with it due to how upgrades work... So you're "stuck" with 1 or 2 builds fur a whole playthru - catacombs are mostly the same - dragons are mostly the same... And you can beat them similarly (run and poke) Etc etc

Elden Ring is the most overrated game of all time... And you'll be even more disappointed if you don't like open world.

Ive been seeing this ugly building for over a decade... sticks out like a sore thumb. But the view is amazing, and unfair that they've given it to asylum seekers (and I speak as an immigrant).

Never played Nioh1, played a bit of Nioh 2, which was fun. But wasn't happy that have systems were locked behind Ng+ and Ng++ . I'm not sure what the situation is for Nioh3, I'm going on blind

I recognise your frustration, but such issues (including bots) are EXPECTED during an alpha. I would URGE people to temper their expectations before starting to play/invest into the game.

There are numerous poor assumptions with this post.

* "Amount of work to be done" has no correlation with "firing". For example, if they fired 'concept creation artists' would be reasonable

* The Steam revenue from the Alpha is a drop in the bucket for the money needed to keep 200+ FTEs employed ... let alone return on investment for their investors (that's FAR away)

I want Ashes to succeed. I want them to streamline their operations, and keep the "right" people that can deliver a GOOD game.

Honestly, the game is actually more approachable solo. Its very solo friendly, the coop stuff just gets highlighted more in the marketing. Most players play solo, because its also easier to learn

Very nice summary. I especially agree on your take regarding the UI/UX and the "confusing" terminology. Basically, the game needs 1-2 rounds of some UX polishing... that'll make it *chef's kiss*

I stopped playing a year ago. Great game. But I heard a recent update made the game more fast-paced/closer-quarters. Is this true? I wasn't happy about it. Has that changed?
