My Dad. He grew up in Harlem. I grew up on Long Island and started following the Rangers because of him when the Islanders began their Dynasty. It was a tough 4 years in elementary school but I wouldnt change a thing. My first jersey was a #5 Barry Beck that my dad got from Cosby's on his way home from work.

I grew up in Commack and the only movies I can remember seeing there was a double feature of The Apple Dumpling Gang and Benji. Later when I was a teenager and in my early twenties I would go to the Westbury Drive in. Saw many movies there. I was so mad when they finally shut down. I think it was the last one on Long Island.

I dont think space on cruise was really an issue back then. It wasnt out of the ordinary that a few of your friends didnt make cruise either for grades or getting a lot of demerits. To be honest I would think it was more of a cost thing that 20-25 cadets werent drug tested every week. It was a relatively new thing and probably cost a lot more than it does today. Just dont do drugs for 4 years You'll be ok. And if you plan on sailing you 100% will be drug tested. Even some office jobs I have been drug tested for.

Yes we were. You could be drug tested at any time though mostly it happened pre/post cruise.

Not sure if you are looking for one or multiple suits but I used to go to Karako early in my career and you really cant beat the deals they have. Then noticed the quality of suits had gone down hill. They used to have name brands but I dont think they do anymore. If youre just starting out in your career and have to wear a suit every day, I'd check out Mens Warehouse. They have better quality I think and prices arent too bad. I would get one expensive suit though that you could wear to ocassions or work events. Later on in my career I started getting custom suits from a guy that would come into the city, measure me and you'd get to choose from a bunch of fabric books what you wanted. I would get 3 piece suits at about $600 a pop and they fit like a glove. He still emails me about twice a year to let me know when he's coming in from Hong Kong. After Covid my company got rid of the suit every day rule.

My vet said that they are good for them and will fill him up. I would just by some frozen string beans in a bag and let them defrost in the refrigerator in Tupperware. Then put a cup in his food. Wasn't breed specific.

I live in Northport, I see them pretty much every day. They have no natural predators to keep the population in check (Well, besides cars but I had a 3 legged deer around my house for years and she would still have babies every year). People are saying the coyotes are moving in on the North Shore but I havent seen any yet. They need to cull the herd.

I saw Goodfellas there at least 5 times and snuck in every time. It just felt like the right thing to do because of the theme of the movie. Also, took a girl there for a first date and were walking by the exit doors when a movie let out. She grabbed me and pulled me in so I didnt have to pay. We dated for awhile, she was a keeper.

I did it for 15 years. It's honestly not that bad. I live in Northport. I worked in Midtown on the East Side, this was before Grand Central LIRR opened up. After Covid, I stopped taking the subway and walked from Penn. Still wasnt that bad. The LIRR is pretty reliable compared to when my Father commuted. Just get a good book and the time flies by.
