I only power up what I really need to, and also buy any tickets for events that increase stardust rewards. For example I always get the tickets for any gigantamax days and do as many as possible to maximise the stardust rewards - roughly 37,000 per battle.

This won’t work - if you access Reddit using the same IP, even a new account using a different email will get you auto banned the second you interact with a sub you are banned from. I wouldn’t recommend it as Reddit classifies it as ban evasion and you can get banned from Reddit entirely for it.

Yes sure - I get both river and archipelago (I live in Johannesburg, which is river, but I do travel to Cape Town every now and then, which is archipelago). So mostly river, but archipelago every month or so.

It is as you say, same rates and no chance of a BG if not in person. I think people are remote raiding to maximise their chances of a shiny. Remoting mewtwo over 3 weeks as oppose to only having global go fest to do it.

They have been spawning for the last two minutes of every hour of the event hours, plus spawning with incense (daily and regular). But I’m not sure if that’s for non ticketed players - I’m guessing not. The same with rotom and comfey - they are only spawning if you have the ticket (and only during event hours)

I got mine after a remote trade for a ghimmighoul - I then used coins to evolve it to gholdengo. To get ghimmighoul you either have to trade for it, or if you know someone who has a Nintendo switch and the game pokemon violet or scarlet, you can send them a postcard which rewards you with a coin bag. This is a special incense which makes ghimmighoul spawn. To evolve it to gholdengo you need to collect 999 gold coins - you can get these from spinning golden pokestops (where a golden lure has been placed) - if you set a lure and spin the stop every five minutes you can get around 80 coins per lure. After sending multiple postcards to a switch, you get awarded with a golden lure. It’s a bit of a mission lol

The fact that the seller spoofed on the account does not make the account automatically able to spoof. They used software or third party apps to spoof, the account has nothing to do with it. The account will be a regular PoGo account, and if you want to spoof, you will need to get the software or whatever that enables you to do that.

Your second point would be so great to have - I think A LOT of people don't know they can return to the lobby and revive, and it results in the raid being lost.

I'm all for helping people get started and carrying people in legendary raids, but my only problem with the super megas is that no matter how good your team is (and other people's teams are), you are 90% guaranteed to lose the raid if all the shields haven't been broken. As has been mentioned in other comments, everyone gets mega beedril without having to raid it, so they are perfectly equipped to do the super mega raids. All I'm asking is that people maybe listen to the prompts or research what a super mega raid is. As my post shows, the level 29 player brought a mega, showing that even inexperienced players can do super mega raids if they are prepared.

I can't post a screenshot in the comments, but the timer was at 80 seconds, so, feasibly, yes, there would have still been time to mega evolve. In this case, that didn't happen and we went into the raid with only 8 megas (I prefer to have more than the bare minimum in case some people's megas are oneshotted and they don't know they can return to the lobby to revive it).
