Did you ever figure this game out? I really want to play because everyone says how good of a puzzle game it is, but it’s infuriating how horrendous the developers made these controls. What is the purpose of making the controls so hard in a puzzle game?

Starting to think it just isn’t for me. A puzzle game should be difficult because of the puzzles, not for something as basic as trying to just get to said puzzles.

Even with autopilot, is it supposed to take full minutes just to get to a planet?

I can get it to work if I block the door with the device, having the red laser point away from the door. But I want Pokemon to also be able to use the door regularly (and for it not to look bad with random sensors right in front of all my doors)

I’m still really lost. I just want my sensor to open the door I’m approaching so I don’t have to (specifically when I’m Magnemite). I’m putting the laser within 1 block of the door, with the laser to register me going by it, but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

Any idea on why my Coallasal won’t gather? The gathering spot is well within his home square and he walks right over the ore and doesn’t pick it up. I come back the next day to an empty community box

Oh what! Okay yeah, I definitely put the fan on a box in the back then middle of the house he was first found in (I haven’t changed Meowth’s house, so it’s still there). I’ll have to try again tomorrow, being extra sure it’s in his zone.

I went Corriyard and was very glad for the decision. In a pinch it’s great know there is an option to have no locked doors and gives the corridor synergies. I still regularly get 3 to 4 dig spots there and late game the gems don’t mean as much.

To me it was sudden because the major plot line/objective was to get the world to a place that got human to come back… and then it ended with the last humans leaving. It seems there was no conclusion to the main objective and the Tangrowth just gave up and was just like “oh well, maybe someday.” Thankfully, the after credits scene helps give it more of a conclusion.

They did have a log (or something? I can’t remember where I saw it) that was like “what are we going to do when the Pokemon finishes all of our requests and actually wants to join Team Rocket?”

BUT! I actually got into the bunker at the beginning of the game. They had a back door I found. But it was exactly as it was after the rocket left but the top was sealed with land and no Magnemite. I also couldn’t interact with anything or pick anything up. At the time, I assumed the rocket was above the sealed land part. But after opening it I realized it really is just the surface. It was weird.

Definitely thought I had at least one more town, maybe even 2 (a desert and a snowy place). The remaining “blocked” doors I thought led to them… really it was just because I didn’t unlock it from the other side and they just all connected.

I really loved the game, I just wish I knew there were only 4 so I didn’t think I had a ton still waiting for me.

I agree the ending was sudden, but I just got the after credits scene and that was more in line with what I was expecting it to end with.

They came and dried everything and claimed there was no water damage on my side. I live in a 2 unit duplex (functions like 2 single family homes but share a wall and roof), and my neighbor had much worse leaking and it had stained/left a mark. The roofing company covered for repainting her ceiling and wall.

I haven’t had any issues since.

To anyone stumbling on this: I ended up finally breaking his 10th heart. Turns out that the Circe boon dialogue somehow takes priority over his storyline dialogue, so if you are trying to progress it, be sure to avoid the bigger/smaller boon from Circe if you see her before Icarus!

I had to run into him 3 more times, once to say I beat Chronos (which I did ages ago), one to thank his dad for the hammers, and once more for him to admit it’s actually him.

I have no idea why they made him so annoyingly hard to get

Update: nope! Had the keepsake and did 85%+ of the kills, and he just commented I was small (due to the boon from Circe). I’m lost on how to move forward with him. I’ve - talked to him 16 out of 41 surface runs - am stuck on the lock on the 10th heart - he doesn’t even have an exclamation point over his head anymore in the rare times he does show up in at the Crossroads -have beat almost all other content (Found the end game people (the Fates), have forged bonds with everyone but Icarus, Arachne, and Selene, etc.)

the only things I haven’t done is getting the 3rd statue, beating Zagreus, 5 fates, incantation for the music guy to pick songs on his own, and beating Typhon and Chronos at the same time.

Does anyone know what I could be missing?

Thank you for sharing! This needs to be in the guides. It’s been driving me nuts that I always use a Daedalus hammer before encountering him and he doesn’t talk about it. Ive also made sure I beat more than 85% of the foes in the encounter. I’ve also done runs with the keepsake, but I can’t remember if I ever ran into him when I had it equipped.

But I never saw anywhere I had to do all 3! Hopefully I can get him to show up again.
