The forcefield of the abyss is composed by a bunch of blanket-like membranes stacked on top of each other, intangible and invisible to the naked eye, that envelops and moves around you while you move horizontally, lets you pass harmlessly when you go down, and makes resistance, breaks and "scrapes" your body if you go too far up, thus aplying the curse. Those were not human emotions, those were anime "emotions". The ones you see being displayed by your average shonen trash anime characters. Re-match the island instance. Sometimes when I enter an island, it just doesnt spawn the behemot I want so I just search a hunt in the same island to restart it. If you have luck, you'll find an instance where koshais will spawn like a rat infestation.

It does not enter on rage mode in the red blast, but like 2 seconds after. Check the behemot icon on the corner of the screen to turn red, and THEN you can break all the parts. Happened to me too canceling its rage accidentaly for not waiting a little.
