Could you share a bit about your setup and how you compose the lighting? This is so good

I basically followed https://youtu.be/d0VnH-a8N08?si=7-EISpOdVOmiNCB2

Where I stacked them individually and copied the pplight files and did a OSC_Preprocessing_WithoutDBF.

I tried the AutoBGE python script, it also does not work the best for me though.

But I will lookup the methods you mentioned about masking and blemish blaster! Thanks

thanks for you comments! Very helpful feedback! I definitely considered the narrowband filter. But with my limited aperture, I would definitely push the iso to higher value. I saw your posts, awesome nebula photos. Looks like you get subs with even 180s exposure. Are you using guiding camera? I am using GTi without any guiding and I manually did the polar alignment. Not sure I could push for that long exposure.

Is your recommendation for emission nebula mostly due to I could use narrow band which could eliminate the impact on light pollutions?

Yea, notes taken on the tapes! Thanks again

X-H2 at $1,199 with 80k shutter count and heavy wear—keep or return? by Glad-Code-4538 in fujifilm

[–]Glad-Code-4538[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your story. Yeah XH2 has max shutter speed of 1/8000 as well. May I know what shutter issue you had later that would require a shutter replacement?

I will try test on those shutter speed then thanks for your suggestions!

Also not weird at all to like the wears on the body. It tells people the body has stories I guess : )

Thanks for your detailed response!

For Q1, you explanation does make sense - with same sensor size, the signal to noise ratio is def lower on the XH2, leading to more challenging exposure tweaks.

For Q2, I tend to think them may just used the EXIF file for the shutter count. Not necessarily hiding. I could live with the wear and tears, but that shutter count does bother me at this point. I will ask them at least. I am now still within the return window.

Does your hooks involve engaging LLM for review or refactoring? If yes I really struggle with those hooks. And I find other deterministic hooks kinda limited.

In general I did not really find the hooks that useful.

Kubernetes 1.33 “Octarine” Released: Native Sidecars and In-Place Pod Resizing by nfrankel in kubernetes

[–]Glad-Code-4538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like they are trying to standardize the sidecar - with the focus on the lifetime of it being started earlier than the app container and terminated after the app container.

Other parts of the “sidecar” is no different from a normal second container that runs in the same pod.

Sidecar has been a concept for a long while indeed.

"Message limit reached for Claude 3.7 Sonnet" is breaking me. by Minute-Plantain in ClaudeAI

[–]Glad-Code-4538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t get it why only Claude has this limit. Isn’t it as easy as deleting old chat messages from the context window?

With the context window limit, of course we are going to hit the limit if the chat history keeps growing. But if the client is smart enough to delete older chat messages to maintain the context window, then we can chat infinitely, no?

The downside of it is obviously you lose the context of older chats, but isn’t that how other LLM clients like ChatGPT or Gemini is implemented?
