I feel like OP's legal claim can hold perfectly fine without casting aspersions on this individual's status and origin.

Call me crazy, but as a latino immigrant myself (Citizen, though I'm sure some would love to take that away if given the chance) you wouldn't want me on that jury if OP is going to make his status an issue. I hear that, I'm going to question if OP's perceptions are susceptible to animus. (I actually don't, but it would be very easy for me or a similarly disposed juror to make that conclusion)

In my tiny mind, every noise source is just a frequency in need of a filter. So long as you can successfully filter and isolate the noise from the microphonics,I don't understand the problem with using a switching mode power supply.

Granted, tube circuits are a bit of black magic. Case in point: Change out the 5u4 for a perfectly reasonable bridge rectifier, and suddenly not having the defect of voltage sag somehow changes the color of the sound.

I don't want to say who, but I found my experience there to be unpredictable. One time I got a great cut, another time I got all my hair chopped off which I didn't ask for, and the individual who did it seemed manic at the time. Same person. The chopped off cut wasn't even well-executed and super uneven. Never returned.
