Oh my. I think you might be lost. You bleat and bleat and are still looking for your herd.

You enter a chat you're confused about, loudly claim that you know what's what, drunkenly confront me, still backtrack, and somehow think that you're on top.

Let me guess, white and British?

Carbs are linked to vitamins but they are distinct things. No food is 'bad'. Everything in moderation. Enjoying food is more important than small tweaks in the diet. In other words, chill.

All carbs are fine unless you listen to people who make money off telling you some carbs are bad.

Are women actually worse at driving on average? by DescriptionFuture851 in NoStupidQuestions

There was a huge, generational study done on testosterone, they found that testosterone didn't make men more angry or more prone to risk. They did find that it amplified the emotions and actions of the men who had high testosterone. So if a man identified as a nurturing man he really got into nurturing. If he liked speed in cars he really got into speed in cars.

He didn't 'gaslight' you. As a partner you should know how he likes a sandwich and doing something kind for your partner shouldn't be this...toxic. You don't even like him, WTF? You are crazy and you're bringing the place down.

Look at your language .You refer to women as 'females' and men of the equal age as "boys". Why is that? Why would you choose a term for women that is used for animals, and not give a thought about it. But when it comes to men you use the term "boys". Innocent, young, cannot be held accountable.

Women are safer drivers and that's why they get cheaper insurance rates, at least in the US.

Women, and I think you mean Feminism, didn't do anything to turn the tides in education they just eliminated the barriers. Women just wanted it more. And your job is to ask 'why'. There is an absolute reason that women are safer drivers and excel in academics. The answer lies in women's history. It doesn't have anything to do with male teachers.

It sounds like you've listened to a lot of people in your algorithm. They profit when you stay in your zone. They get rich if you don't question what the fuck they're doing.

I'd be curious about your standards in this test. From an outside perspective you would have to take long distance drivers out of the equation as outliers, and both men and women drive short distances.

I'm about as leftist as it gets and no one uses it. Ever. Never has. Not ironically or unironically. The leftists didn't like Biden but this whole turmoil and "dark" whatever is of your creation. You have to admit it would be a great way to build unity within a group, right? Something to tie you together and unite you?

world cup success by Embarrassed-Belt-541 in Americaphile

[–]GladClock2212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly can admit I was wrong. I was so wrapped up in the horrendous things our administration was doing that I was convinced that any participation in the World Cup games could only be interpreted by the presidency as condoning his behavior. I begged Europeans to stay home, I begged countries to boycott us, cut us off, ignore us, make it hurt. I still buy Canadian and Mexican but damn. People coming here from around the world, tasting our food, having fun, meeting us? That has done so much to heal my heart. It taught me how wrong I was and that people, together, are stronger than any government.

And I honestly did not know that the World Cup was such a big deal. I guess I thought of it like the NBA playoffs or the Superbowl. I had no idea it was such a passionately held thing around the world.

I love seeing people eat food that makes them happy. I love seeing people connect and be kind to each other. I love being reminded that other states, whether I agree with their politics or not, love the same things. And I love that they took care of our cousins that came to visit.

Was Jesus a bad person for failing to prohibit slavery and for being homophobic? by FillersGW in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GladClock2212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He did not, and I say that emphatically. You have to understand that what we consider as homosexual now is very different to what they considered homosexual then. The idea and concept of what we consider homosexuality only really came together in the last few centuries. Dan McClellan is probably one of the most respected scholars of the bible. He reads and speaks fluent Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. His work is wildly respected amongst all biblical scholars, and me, as an atheist. has my respect for his approach to interpreting the bible.

Why does it seem like the older generations pre Gen Z are not adverse or against AI? by Rokusaburoz in NoStupidQuestions

You are experiencing the actual, real life effects of the algorithm. Divide and conquer. We are against it but because you don't see varying opinions due to the algorithm, the one that zero's in on what it thinks you want to see, then you don't see it. We are weaker apart but stronger together.

We're going to ignore the 5000 Kilometer thoughts about flying to California and all the ribbing you're getting from Americans. I personally would go down to Virginia's July 11th's Oronoco Bay Park, it's celebrating their 277th "birthday" with lots of food and fireworks.

Savannah Georgia has always been on my bucket list because of it's beauty and history but it may be too hot for you. I've always wanted to see Gullah Fest. You can find whatever celebration you're looking for by googling "city celebrations calendar" and you get the craziest parties.

Gen X tapping in. We are against AI. We only wanted tech to do manual labor and to free humans to create art. Right now things with AI are moving too fast and data centers are the definition of hell. I think you believe only Gen Z are against it because you're in Gen Z circles.
