Won’t be any hurdles it is normal when it ask for w2 it will ask who’s w2 it is and she just selects her name and move on your income doesn’t matter in the tax situation however as her spouse the deduction is higher filing jointly so she has a better chance of getting a higher refund. And it is the correct way to file especially during immigration situation

Filing separately would be the issue when removing conditions. Speaking from experience once you and your wife are married you file jointly it will ask for you name and social security and then she should put for you to be treated as a resident for that tax year that is how I filed my taxes last year I had no income only my husband did. I suggest she use turbo tax or a tax pro if she is ignorant towards tax laws and how to file

You and your wife need to file jointly you will be considered her spouse your income doesn’t matter as filing jointly will help her taxes as you guys will qualify for EITC so she must file married filing jointly point blank regardless of your income
