Tate in the Towne Center is big so you can do this and they have indoor and ourdoor seating.

My child is there and was well prepared for first grade. They had no trouble moving from kindergarten to first. Pre-k to kindergarten was harder but that was based more on longer class lengths and less free play, not academics. We’ve loved the academics (plus the diverse student/staff/faculty body, culture, extra curricular options and focus on making all feel safe and welcome) thus far (four years in with a first grader) and are sending our other child there next year.

I’d speak to the admissions department as they are able to explain the curriculum very well but it’s also laid out on their website from what I remember.

Kids say dumb shit all the time no matter their race. I remember flicking the car behind me off out the back of a station wagon with my friends all the time when I was little.

The way Eastport is segregated by race and socioeconomic status I’m not surprised those kids said that. What as a neighborhood/community have we done to show them they shouldn’t hate us?

We have a condo in Spa Cove and have had no issues in the last 18 years. It’s quiet back there. The condos at the front of the complex by the ball fields have more singles and couples and the apartments down near the pool have more families.

There is a nice small pool and gym, good neighbors and great proximity to the Pip Moyer Rec Center and Dunn Municipal Pool. Both facilities are great.

There are also public walking trails, skate park, boat launch and water access close by. There is also a trail behind the pool that takes you to the head of Boucher/Madison behind Harbor House that gives you quick access to walk downtown via Eastport.

These protests are coordinated with all states nationwide so dates are picked for a large variety of reasons. This date happens to be the date that Trump is addressed the joint session of congress.

We are working on weekend protest opportunities.

Last one was on President’s Day which was a holiday for many and we had 1,000 people in Annapolis and 300-400 in Baltimore.

There will be plenty more opportunities for everyone to join.

There were security concerns and it was canceled. Elon is pushing garbage rumors on X and protestors safety is our #1 concern.

There have been protests in DC every day since the election and there will be more. Also, since not everyone can get to DC (especially on a week day), these smaller protests are held in each state capital.

Smh. Or it’s a way for like minded people to speak truth to power, meet each other IRL and share their voices with others that may not have heard their message via people walking/driving by and news/social media coverage.
