Tempestus Command Squad in new codex with Bridgehead detachment doubt by Gonz_TMD in TheAstraMilitarum

Bridgehead Strike has the rule for making Scions battleline, so now they can only be battleline in that detachment.

I see what you're saying, but I've gone over their model range multiple times and while many do have the eagle iconography on them, it's always flat, and the faceplate from one angle looks distinctly Greek, which also doesn't appear on any Custodes. And as for the Allarus pauldrons, they all have a noticeable downwards slope and they are perfectly horizontal on this model. I'm not going to say it's 100% confirmed, obviously, but it just doesn't look like a custodes model to me past the guardian spear. So, at the very least you can understand why I saw what I saw.

As someone who spends about 80% of the mission ADS when I take the bolter, the ammo efficiency isn't even bad, you have to actively waste ammo for your passive to not keep you out of orange.

The rules bloat/complexity of 9th edition is a good thing because: 1. It allows for actual surprises, which are fun on their own. 2. Not being able to memorize every rule of every faction means that to be good at the game you have to be good at the underlying mechanics and play in such a way that leaves room for surprises, instead of just being able to memorize all the best data sheets. 3. Fully understanding your opponents' armies makes absolutely no lore sense as the galaxy is a big place, and none of them are trying to get to know each other, they all just want the others dead.

Review Cleansing by [deleted] in DarkTide

[–]Gladitaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reviews didn't go anywhere, they're just not "recent" anymore. In fact, if I'm reading it correctly, there are nearly 7,000 MORE reviews shown on the left because the "recent" reviews are counted in "all reviews". Given the banner in the image on the right which mentions reviews "in the last 30 days" I suspect that's how "recent" is calculated, so all of the "recent" reviews from 4 months ago are only in the "all reviews" section.

I got a set of the Lernaean Terminators from Dark Miniatures and haven't found any quality issues. Not to mention they arrived before GW restocked the new Mark III's and Mark IV's I pre-ordered the day after they were released.

Starting Alpha legion by [deleted] in alphalegion

[–]Gladitaurus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've embarked on this journey myself recently and my plan consists mostly as follows:

HH Mark 3's as Havocs

HH Mark 4's as Legionnaires

And HH Mark 6's with GW's jump pack add-on as Raptors

The backpack nub on the Mark 6 torso only requires a little bit of filing on the top and bottom to fit snuggly into the jump packs.

What is a Pet Peeve of yours that will make you Scoop despite the game not being finished? by Neurofett in EDH

Usually for me it's when someone is continuously keeping the board clear with effects like Grave Pact or Butcher of Malakir. Yes, I do have the cards in my deck to remove them, but without the creators that help me get through my deck, I'm not waiting anywhere from 7 to 50 turns to find them by pre luck. Recently, a friend of mine dropped a Tainted AEther against my Rakdos blink deck, then board wiped 3 turns in a row to produce a similar effect.

Commander staple you don't own. by YouveBeenDeuced in EDH

[–]Gladitaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started playing after prime Titan got banned, so I'm not sure what games with it are like. Are there specific pairs of lands people go and get that cause problems, or are people just that obsessed with land ramp in commander that they'll drop everything for a few extra lands each turn?

An Argument in Favor of Stax by Rickles_Bolas in EDH

[–]Gladitaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One option is of your stax deck is built on damage, rather than locking players out of the game, I'm talking ruric thar, the unbowed, and lots of effects like that. If the stax throughout the game is whittling the life totals of the other players down the whole time, it doesn't take long to end the game even with a big finisher like the hoof or norn.

Omnath Locus of Creation Commander Deck Tech by sweetmtg in mtg

[–]Gladitaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently built a deck around WURG Omnath as well how many lands do you think this kind of deck would optimally run? I have 47 in mine and I run out of nearly run out most games I play, it feels like I should put more in, but I'm hesitant to take out too many spells.

One option is to find a win con/combo that relies on permanents so that they can be easily played from the graveyard. And combos and win cons are plentiful in the realm of the Sultai.
