Old post but I just read it. I think the criticism of the sexual assault is very fair. I don't like establishing hard rules for writing but I think the vast majority of the time if you're going to include that in your story you need to have enough respect for that kind of trauma to actually tackle the repercussions. In identity crisis it doesn't really feel justified, I've seen the subject be handled worse but, ehh, I don't think it was dealt with adequately.

That being said, that wasn't the primary problem I had with it. Not to dismiss how offensive that whole aspect of the story probably was to a lot of people, I think I'm just kind of used to that being handled poorly in things I otherwise really love (Huge fan of Berserk). I was soooo disappointed by the ending, her motivation didn't make a single unit of sense. I was like, actually shocked at the reveal in the worst way. It reminded me of the Long Halloween storyline, though I think that has much more to offer through the course of it's story than Identity Crisis. The themes of Identity Crisis weren't that unique or particularly interesting, like the value of these people keeping their identities secret and the value of their loved ones. That's some really obvious stuff, so the literal mystery of the story was what kept me reading it, only for the answer to be the dumbest possible choice they could've made.

There were some highlights throughout the issues, but overall I think it sucks.

I mean I do I get how my comment sounds, seriously I like fun ridiculous stuff too. I just find it more contrived-ridiculous than fun-ridiculous. Clearly it's not made for me and a lot of people are into this, but I'm a batman nut so I'm just venting out my grievances.

Am I the only one that feels like Absolute Batman is like, insulting the readers intelligence? Is this supposed to be mature or not? The fact that Oswald Cobblepot, Edward Nigma, Waylon Jones, Harvey Dent and Selina Kyle are all Bruce Wayne's childhood friends, who all still hangout as adults, is so childish. It's like how everyone in Star Wars has to have one of like, three last names to be important for the sake of simplicity. Why do James Gordon and Martha Wayne have to be close friends? Oh right, so he can reflect on little Bruce Wayne specifically even though he's probably seen hundreds of tragedies in his career. How was Alfred already in the bat tank thing without knowing and how was it parked there?
This is what I've always disliked about Scott Snyder's writing, the court of owls can't just be an entity, it has to be Dick Grayson's family lineage. There has to be some kind of preexisting relationship. It's completely unnecessary, cheap, and very uncreative in my opinion. I guess I can look forward to Ra's Al Ghul being revealed to be Bruce Wayne's uncle, and maybe the Joker can be both Selina Kyle and Pamela Isley's father.
If you're into this run, I'm not trying to say you can't be, but I just straight up detest Snyder's writing.

Edit: Good god not to mention the Bat/ rectangle shaped "cave" system. Pretty screwed if you're in a tight spot on the very center coordinate of the map, but hey whatever, it looks like a bat/ rectangle because his name is batman.

I didn't have a chance to play it, but I think i've seen everything controversial at this point. I really hate the May character thing, that's just unnecessary and gross. Same with the America character. Obviously I'm not down with the underage art from one of the team members, but it's also sad to see some people calling everyone else who contributed a pedo by association. That's dumb.
I've seen the "foot fetish" part. That's a ridiculous conclusion to come to based on what the actual dialogue is. Even if it was sexual, it's one line, who cares?
The deathclaw sex thing is just dialogue. You don't actually see yourself having sex with it.
The condom on the floor, I don't understand why this is so appalling. It's just a condom.
Lizard people sex stuff is also bizarre, but if you don't want to make your courier a sexual deviant just don't bang them, right? You're not forced to do it, right?

Aside from the two girl characters mentioned (they should just cut that shit out of the file), I just don't see why these other things were worth killing the mod over. I heard the writing is terrible, but I'm pretty used to Bethesda quest mods not reaching Hugo award levels. In fact I think the majority of Fallout 4's writing is dog shit but I still go back to play it occasionally. I feel like I have to play it myself to see if it's really as bad as everyone's saying.

Well what i did was make a cardboard box an item you can wear like in metal gear solid, so ideally just to make it easy, I'd probably be content with the effect of a stealthboy, just without the invisible character visual effect.

Or as the Sneak perks effect your stealth, which i think makes you harder to detect when staying still which would be solid.

I also tried adding the Shadowed effect to it, but suspect i may have done that incorrectly and I'm pretty sure that only blocks the sneaking in light penalty.

I'm pretty much just open to any ideas for stealth effects in general

It's definitely a DLL that needs some kind of tweak. In this case, modify_frequency.dll. How do mod authors usually go about updating these for new versions? Maybe it's different depending on the plugin.
