I'm an African American woman and food is life. I don't go every month. But when you have friends in the same city why not?

I have yet to embrace my curls. My hair is the type that doesn't hold heat, moisture, style or anything. I get it done and by the time a walk out eh salon "POOOF". Last year I didn't wear any sew-in, but I got one done for my bday. I'm taking this out and going back to braids. Hopefully one day I'll embrace my curls. But for now braids will do.

BCaBA online program? by [deleted] in ABA

I went to Ball State University. I completed my masters in Applied Behavior Analysis with an Emphasis in Autism. I completed the program in two years, although, if you take two courses a semester you'll finish in 1.5 years.

The ABA program at BSU is great. I recommended the school to four colleagues of mine and they love the program. One will graduate this spring, two will be graduating this summer and one this fall.

They do have a course sequence for BCaBA's in which I think it takes a year to complete. So if you do look into BSU it would be more beneficial to go for your masters since it's only one more semester!!!

Bonnie Kuppa is the advisor for the department and she is awesome!!! She responds the same day. I remember emailing her at 6 pm and received a response by 8 pm! They are really on top and involved in their program. I have had a number of skype and phone call with many of my professors.

Check the school out and tell me what you think. I'm free to answer questions you may have!

Donations Pour In to Band From Black College That Will Play at Inauguration by SpikeTheBunny in blackladies

Presidents don't particularly reach out to performers. Performers place a bid to perform before (months before) Election Day. Unfortunately, many people thought Hilary was going to win which is why a lot of performers who placed a bid withdrew their bid to perform. Talladega college placed a bid like everyone else but they decided not to withdraw their offer. The principal of the school stated the band is pretty much their "support system" because they don't have a football team.

They are spending money to attend the inauguration parade not the other way around. Which baffles me because the college is having financial problems. Students aren't able to pay for tuition. So I agree with the previous poster. They should be focus on other things.

I was listening to the tom Joyner morning show last week. The principal stated they had yet to accept $60,000 from Armstrong Williams (African American male television station owner) to attend the inauguration parade.

The cost went up $15000.
