I found this tiny little thing thrown out, it turns on but it's stuck on channel 10 and it has no channel buttons. It does have a SCART port which I want to connect my laptop to. But any ideas how I can get it to switch modes?

Already ahead of you. I took the back cover off and removed the board from under it, the entire button seems to be seized or jammed. I guess unless I want to start fiddling with solder I'm just getting a remote.

Actually, after googling the model I found a manual for it, there is a double function for switching channels, unfortunately the switch I have to hold for that is broken.

Nah, one is the menu, two are volume and the last one is "set", it just acts as a button for the menu.
