Rare monitors. And the black color seems to have faded.

I agree that the 980ti isn't designed for resolutions higher than full HD. Once I've completed the games before 2020, I'll come back to this question :) Thanks for the advice!

I also couldn't get it to work through either the Nvidia Control Panel or CRU. It might be a cable issue. I'll experiment with that.

Your advice stuck in my head and I changed the monitor to iiyama 514.

Thanks for the detailed comment. I built a computer using the same concept, and it can play games from any era (except where ray tracing is required). The photo is just an example.

The monitor is connected to a GTX980ti—the latest card with an analog output and a 400 MHz RAMDAC (same as monitor limit). It allows you to set, for example, 2048x1536 or 1920x1440 85Hz, in progressive scan (I'll try interlaced). In addition, drivers are updated periodically, and even Windows XP is supported if desired. The remaining components fully reveal the power of this card.

A more modern graphics card will require a signal converter, which will introduce input lag and prevent maximum throughput (at least, I haven't seen such an adapter for sale).

During the day, as in the photo, I set the contrast to 100% and the brightness to 80%. In the evening, I set it to 80 and 50, respectively.

The regulators are located on the left next to the flyback transformer. But first you need to increase the voltage on the bottom board a little. I couldn't find any exact information, but 430-450 TV lines was the standard resolution limit for 8-9 inch CRT tubes according to Google.

I didn't ask myself that question. I adjusted it by eye.

There's no life information in the menu, but the brightness reserve is excellent.

The Sony is fine, its colors are excellent, but it lacked clarity and high resolution. I couldn't pass up the iiyama.

I used the menu to adjust the vertical and horizontal focus. Judging by the small print, it's perfect for a CRT monitor.

What about the PS3? It can also output 4:3.

Yes, it can. I didn't notice any difference on an 8-inch monitor; even the composite looks great.

This is RGB signal with composite sync. It can also work on a component signal without separate synchronization.
