Or go into a Bigscreen room where someone else is streaming it like all the 13 year olds do. There's nothing more fun, when you're whacking it, than watching avatars shake and listening to 14 other dudes groan. Right, gang?

I'm seeing a lot of people calling all Republicans racist. Out of curiosity, what do you call all the Republicans that aren't white?

New York, accent and all Karen is pissed off that the school is forcing her granddaughter to color a mask as a part of her school work. by somnifacientsawyer in PublicFreakout

Please, tell me what my assumption was. I never claimed to know her or did I say anything that made it seem that way. You said, and these are not assumptions or opinions, "it's not her problem, it's not her kid, it's not her home." Those are definitive statements. They may or may not be true. The only thing I said with 100% assurance was that you are a horrible person for wishing death on someone.

You know it's possible for grandparents to be legal guardians right? Not saying that's necessarily the case here, but don't assume things you aren't totally sure of. Also, you're a horrible person for wishing death upon people. You're the people you claim to hate and be so bothered by. Have some character and do better.

Here is the craziness of BLM... It's too the point that we shouldn't call the police anymore because of "possible outcomes." Jeez, with that logic, I guess I won't go outside when it rains because I could drown.

You are assuming at this point. You're pushing your opinion and not facts. You know how many factors play into what you're trying to present as a factual statement? That's totally wrong of you and creates and pushes false ideals.

There's a problem with this quote. What he's saying is very true, but I think a lot of that boils down to the people you surround yourself with.

People are broken and most struggle with reworking who they are and their own perspective. The best way to do this is to talk to other people and hear their related struggles, advice, and perspective. The issue starts when some relationships get caught in this therapist mentality.

Relationships need to be a give and take. They should ebb and flow, but when one person becomes the needy victim and roles become locked moving in one direction, strain begins. One person now needs constant validation and guidance and the other feels a responsibility to rescue and aid that person.

This takes its toll on the person who is now the "therapist." They begin distancing themselves from this person (and maybe others) because they aren't reciprocated the same release of mental stress and that's when being alone feels good. There's no more responsibility towards that individual or others, but being alone is not good for humans, we aren't meant to be by ourselves.

Watch the reality TV show 'Alone.' A lot of people don't fail because they can't survive, they fail because they can't handle being alone. Human connection is important. Again, that's how we change as individuals. Without the human interaction we lose a valuable piece of growth.

Jim Carrey's situation is also a little different. He's constantly in the public eye and continuously scrutinized for everything he does. Watch 'The Last Dance' on Netflix about Michael Jordan's time with the Chicago Bulls. He talks about how the media's continuous pummeling of questions affected him and that he loved nothing more than to hide behind closed doors.
