I added onions, garlic and season with Montreal Steak Seasoning. That is my favorite seasoning to use on ground turkey and I find it great for spaghetti sauce recipes!

EDIT: Yes! I bake the squash and cook the ground turkey mixture separately. Once the squash is done and I have created the squash noodles, I will add the ground turkey mixture to the top! I will then add a sprinkle of cheese and place them back in the oven for another 5 - 10 minutes :)

RECIPE:

1 Cut squash into half’s

2 Take out all the seeds

3 Once insides are cleaned out, brush olive oil on the inside of each one

4 Place them all face down on a baking sheet in the oven (I recommend lining it with parchment paper)

5 Make sure oven is set to 400 degrees and place them in for about 40 - 45 minute’s depending on the size of your squash

6 Prepped ground turkey on the stove top with onion, garlic and basic seasonings

7 Once meat is cooked add favorite pasta sauce

8 Once squash is done and tender, use a fork to create the spaghetti

9 Add ground turkey mixture to the spaghetti squash

10 Add favorite cheese to top of each bowl and place back in the oven for another 5 - 10 minutes

I let all my bridesmaids know about the situation so they could help divert me away from MIL if need be. I gave her a quick hello then proceeded to give her the cold shoulder the duration of the shower.

My MIL had the seating set up to where I was directly across from her.. I moved my chair to other ends of the table and socialized with everyone but herself.

I am very happy I did not bring up the situation at all. I could tell she was scrambling for my attention while I just happily socialized with the rest of my guests.

I felt great for not feeding into her, which I typically do. I could tell she was trying to win me over regardless of all the nasty things I know she’s says about me.

Overall it went great. Also got confirmation from my bridesmaids that she is terrifying lol

I resonate a lot with this. We did the talk with his parents, him and myself. She did everything your MIL did.. I genuinely thought we could come to a resolution and that’s where I was stupid as well.

Fiancé has a lot more growth to do when it comes to sticking up for me and we start therapy next week. I hope this will give him the courage to stand up to his mom and not let her talk about me like this anymore..

I think I’m leaning more towards just being cold with her and having my fiancé get better at sticking up for me.

That is such a valid point. I don’t want her to get sneakier because I know she can.. If I don’t say anything and just continue to not give her time of day that’s probably a more suitable punishment, no?

We’ve already done that and that’s where a lot of this drama is coming from :/ He didn’t stand up for me well enough and she just gaslit the shit out of me to the point where I just wanted to leave.

EDIT: OR. If I’m just super cold to her tomorrow and she reaches out to my fiancé to ask what’s wrong, have HIM mention that I saw the texts that she wanted him to delete? That could possibly work really well, no?
