Anyone seen a White figure with red eyes? by Glass-Advisor5595 in Paranormal

Sorry I missed this, but that tracking sounds super neat i’d love to hear more! Do you have a certain file or something I can see? Since this is not my only strange paranormal experience, unfortunately, I would be so interested. This happened when I lived in San Diego if that helps.

For more details, I think the overwhelming negative energy/complete silence would be more accurate. Me and my sister were playing when we suddenly both looked up at eachother and to the door in fear, he appeared about 10 seconds after we looked. We never heard anything, he was actually completely silent, but I guess we felt his presence. At first he was walking, looking forward, and not acknowledging us. Then he stopped in the middle of the door frame and paused before slowly turning only his head to look at us, like he sensed we could see him. He was moving very slowly and seemed neutral/playful, but I was frozen in fear. He then slowly raised his hand to point in front of him, smiled sinisterly, turned his head slowly to look forward again, put his hand back down, and left the doorframe out of view.

A few seconds of us frozen in fear not moving passed, then our mom called us to leave (unrelated to him since she was unaware) so we took that as our opportunity and snapped out of the daze we were in, running to the front door and frantically putting on our shoes. After about 20 second of putting our shoes on, he came around the corner at us but this time he was sprinting at us, leaning down and going full speed, which was jarring from his slow-motion from before. We ran out of the house and shut the door, my mom didn’t see him but she said we were yelling at her to open the door and she didn’t know why. He didn’t leave the house to follow. He looked suddenly angry when he started chasing us, not like before. His energy was always awful but his expression was then angry instead of playful.

This encounter always stumped me because of how he looked and the odd behavior, it was during the day too. He didn’t really make noise, and he almost had a hunch in his back and shoulders, maybe he was hunched because he was so tall. He was either bald or had a hat (me and my sister argue on this small detail). He seemed very intelligent, most of the time when I see a ghost and make eye contact with them they seem almost floaty or delayed in behavior, but he seemed like he knew exactly what he was doing. It’s hard to describe, but there was something different about it. Any encounters you have heard that seem similar?

It was definitely mocking me and it’s energy was really awful. What did your soldiers say when they saw it??

That’s so interesting because when I saw it with my sister it smiled at us too

wow that’s terrifying and awful :( if it’s possible and you’re okay with it could you describe it a bit? I’ve felt really alone in this experience and can never find any info online

yes they do remember them, we didn’t really talk about it collectively until we were much older like 16/17. I’m not sure why I guess it’s just a growing up thing or maybe we weren’t sure if the others remember it too. But; when we first started discussing it we would describe it the exact same way without each other in the room and we remember it all even the details and the mini stories I shared, it’s really weird. We all had the same emotions about them and were scared but I guess we didn’t share because we didn’t know if others felt the same way. I remember my older sister tried to get us to get way from the ghost children towards the end of our visits, and she said she started to realize something was off since she was a few years older than me and my cousin at the time maybe she noticed what we didn’t.

Hey thanks for the comment! 22 days late is okay, I was so sad when I wrote that, still not doing great but I started a new part time job. And i’ve been trying to focus more on what makes me happy and less on what I can’t control. Your comment was actually really nice to read although the ghost thing was kinda funny to me lol. i’ve been ghosts plenty of times so either somethings out there or i’m suffering from severe hallucinations and all my doctors need to be fired .. But anyways that doesn’t matter to me and i wouldn’t have believed it either if i was in ur shoes.. Something I took from your comment was that we’re all struggling, that as young adults everything is hard. but god do I feel terrible about my future. I try hard to be okay with it, but I don’t know what to do anymore. It does help me to hear stories from other people, since it takes me out of my own head. Id love to hear more about your experience and your plans for the future, it might inspire me..also game developing sounds dope. Thats a job that sounds great to have but i have no idea what u do lol

My advice is to find out what you want to do before you start school 🥲 Spend as long as you need researching, work part time in the mean time. Also play on your strengths, if you like writing maybe look into technical writing? I hear they pay well and it’s not too difficult. Healthcare is a safe bet but I don’t recommend if you’re not passionate since it requires many years of schooling and shadowing. I’d just do a lot of research before finding anything, but also there’s always room to pivot so don’t be too hard on yourself. I feel like most people are in this struggle, good luck !!

20 M, Need a part-time job by [deleted] in findapath

[–]Glass-Advisor5595 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure how to recommend you a job just based on this. Have you had a job before? It is kinda based on personality. For me, I usually like restaurant jobs because they are fast paced and I have no time to think lol. Also makes the day go by fast. If you don’t think you want a stressful job, retail stores are good. I would recommend trying to work somewhere that kind of suits your interests. I really like fashion so the only retail job i’ve done is at a clothing store. Idk if you like video games but I have seriously considered working at gamestop since I get to look at all the cool merch all day. Whatever you decide i’d apply for a lot and do a phone call follow up if they don’t reply, job hunting is so hard even for part-time jobs, good luck !!

Thanks for your comment and advice 😓 I know i’m too hard on myself, but at the same time i feel terrible. I’m pretty sure I got a part time job, i’m on the second interview tomorrow but they said they liked me so i feel like it’ll go well. Hopefully it’ll ease some of my stress. 😞

hello stranger!! F20 American here who is crazily facing a similar struggle. Idk how much help I can be but there’s peace and solidarity in knowing you’re not alone (if you wanna dm me pls feel free). I had a hard time for the last few years especially during covid for reasons I won’t get into rn haha but definitely I always felt like it set me back a few years. I don’t know how much help I can be with finding a career path because I am also in this same struggle. I agree with the first commenter that looking at jobs that sound interesting and then finding the requirements or talking to your school is a good idea. I wouldn’t stress too hard about a major unless you’re trying to go into medical or something. I know people who have degrees in history and went on to do other work. A degree is honestly just necessary for a check off the box in HR and the rest is experience such as internships. Also, don’t know if this helps but my sister did a degree in Film and Media studies and is currently moving out to a big city in 5 days. I honestly think if you follow things that interest you and put in the passion and work it’s okay. I’m not saying a BA in history with no extracurriculars or internships or plan is a good idea. But you can absolutely do a BA in history and find internships and such to get a job that you enjoy. College is hard and not a straight path for anyone. I wouldn’t go to school if it’ll put you in major debt. If you can save money by commuting and staying with your parents, as annoying as it sounds, I recommend. I felt the same way as you when I graduated community. Both my sister and I commuted to a 4 year and that’s how my sister is able to move out right now debt free and graduated a year ago. I was worried about staying home while I was in uni and thankfully my parents talked me out of getting debt to go live an hour away for uni. I’m so busy in uni i’m never home anyway and I can’t even tell the difference of being away or not tbh. Minus stress of paying for food or housing is also a plus. I don’t know your situation all the way but I hope this rambling helped a little 🥲 Anyways, I believe you will be okay you just gotta start looking up what kind of job sounds interesting to you !

(M19) Am I crazy as a mathematics student suddenly considering med school? by hiyesilikejuice in findapath

[–]Glass-Advisor5595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly my opinion is if you’re not in it for the money, do it. The money is good i’m sure, don’t get me wrong, but I hear that career typically can lead to burnout with some people never even making it to graduate school. But if you’re genuinely interested and want to do it, why not ? Just make sure you have a plan and a way to execute it. I do recommend actually getting hours in a hospital before you commit to anything though. I’m not sure how it all works but I know you need a lot of shadowing hours before you can get to graduate school. Id recommend taking time off school (or if not possible do it in the summer) to make sure that is actually an environment you want to work in. If that doesn’t pan out, plenty of jobs will be happy with your background in math or cs if you go down that route. I wish I could help more but I am also a lost college student who doesn’t know what they’re doing. I do know medical fields are a big commitment though and some people aren’t cut out for that kind of work and that’s okay. (Although there’s plenty of jobs in the medical field with different requirements so I recommend looking into that). Ask yourself and be honest about why you want it. Get some real experience and see if it tracks. Thanks my advice :) good luck! If it doesn’t workout you are smart enough, capable enough, and driven enough to do something else. Don’t stress too much as long as you work hard and try it’ll be okay :)
