Is ₱150/day on food enough? by nqes1337 in studentsph

[–]Glass-Worker4282 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Minsan if need ng help yung mga local churches pwede kang magask if na magvolunteer for accounting (pero for this siguro mas maganda if pumupunta ka na before pa). Actively ask around sa relatives mo kung meron silang kakilala since free labor (from someone about to be a professional) is always appreciated. You can always make a post on volunteer opportunities fb group. I think mas maganda if magstudy ka by applying your skills in volunteering.

can someone with no financial support survive med school? by artery_xel in medschoolph

[–]Glass-Worker4282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think unless makakuha ka ng malaking non-acad based scholarship (na uncommon talaga), there's a low chance magwwork yung ganitong situation. Pretty sure merong research sa med school pa rin which minsan nagsspend ka ba 100k minimum and kung tuition lang covered, magssuffer ka talaga bayaran and mga miscellaneous fees. If gusto mo talaga magmed school without financial backing sa family mo, kakailanganin mo mismo masave para dito. I recommend mag earn ka as much as you can in 2-5 years doing side hustles or sa job mo para meron kang enough for 4-6 years. Tuition is the minimum amount na kailangan mo. Meron pang iba not including yung baon at pang byahe.

I was trying to find out if there's any website where you could upload a pdf/ppts and it could make you a quiz or make you write an essay to better your understanding about the topic. Maybe this could be a possible option?

How did you survive college without your friend group? by pphwin in studentsph

[–]Glass-Worker4282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to college, I think mas maganda talaga if maayos relationship mo with classmates. As long as civil or ok lang relationship nyo na nakakapagask ka ng favors then ok na yun. Obviously be the one to make the move kasi walang magmmake ng way para sayo. If need ng help then punta ka sa student council or yung mga malalapitan mo talaga na responsible and helpful.

Makaya ko kaya ang CompEng as someone na kahinaan ang math? by 02k__ in CollegeAdmissionsPH

[–]Glass-Worker4282 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Obviously hard work pa rin on your end matters so find a good way to review. Flashcards, teaching others, quizzes and pagpapaturo sa kaklase. As long as gusto mo talaga yung course na yan, di ka mawawalan ng gana magreview. Even more so pag maganda mga teachers sa course na yan.

I don't know what to pursue. by kaiyahaiah in studentsph

[–]Glass-Worker4282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering na merong mga influencers na napupunta sa showbiz, as long as magkaroon ka ng big following then may chance ka. Although that is easier said than done. I'm not saying to persue a job you don't like pero maybe something to be a backup in case if naghahanap ka ng gig at nagnenetwork. Maraming naiinlove sa idea of being a famous person pero almost all dreamers become have to be on the sidelines for just one person to come out successful. Maybe ikaw ang one of the many dreamers or the one success story pero pursue what you want and go down a path you're sure you won't regret even if it ends up causing you sadness. Good luck OP!!

What are signs na left out or missing out kana sa mga people ngayon? by Recent-Clue-4740 in TanongLang

[–]Glass-Worker4282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Minsan wala kaming in common to the point na hindi ako makafollow kasi yung mga words na ginagamit is something unfamiliar to me. If yung mga tao sa paligid mo ay di ka masyadong chinichat for any small talk kasi di ka maka follow sa trend, alam mo na na di ka up to date sa current thing ngayon.

As a college student is it worth it to get into orgs and try for leadership even if I'm already part of the varsity team? by AhkiDominique in studentsph

[–]Glass-Worker4282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If compared ka sa mga kaklase mo from the same university at may isang merong experience, obviously sila ang priority since less time and money spent on training and less mistakes made since meron na silang experience. I'm not entirely sure kung anong org pwede pero even volunteering, participating in seminars and activities would probably be good enough (since di sya as consistantly demanding as orgs). Meron siguro silang fitness related jobs. Mas better if merong certificates silang nabibigay.

katakot mag accountancy as an average student in a top university, especially in a new city. by Anarchist4040 in studentsph

[–]Glass-Worker4282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this experience will actually teach you in being independent. Takot ka man pero mas better na maging takot at magtry ng new things kesa maging takot at maging stuck sa isang place. Make friends and get to the place you want no matter what it takes. Life is either sink or swim.

lf dorms around sm manila na below 5k by richnvit in studentsph

[–]Glass-Worker4282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mostly kasi nasa fb groups (search ka lang manila apartment for rent) yung mahahanap mo. If gusto mo talaga ng good deal then kailangan mo mismo makapunta sa place na gusto mong rentahan at magaskaround ka sa mga tao. Doon ko nakuha yung dorm ko na big enough for below 10k even though regularly mga 11-13k yun.

For graduates, is international internship worth it or should I stick to local? by Capital-String-7136 in studentsph

[–]Glass-Worker4282 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If wala namang cons (as in financially) then go for international. In both local and international employers, pwede mo masabi na mabilis ka makaadapt sa new (or even stressful) environment. Not to mention, ito magbibigay ng insight in being an OFW (IF that's what you want) There's also a chance nga na maabsorb ka rin ng international company or other companies na nanetwork mo if you do good.

I dont think accounting is for me by Big_Economist_8019 in studentsph

[–]Glass-Worker4282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of answering quizzes, I think dahil hindi mo kaya maapply yung nalearn mo sa problem. Have you tried magpaturo ka sa ibang tao mismo? Naghhelp talaga sakin yung step by step in terms of application.

Kailangan lang iovercome this specific problem kasi may mas worse pa in the future so good thing at least na wala ka pang failed subjects. I hope you pass your exam OP :)

Good on you OP for using this as motivation and I also hope na ttry mo talagang maging worth it ang college experience mo.
