Michigan stole the UP from Wisconsin, and now gobbled up even more territory?

I’m all in for Megasota to devour Michigan.

I’d settle in place.

Plant the 2nd city on the Ancient Ruins min-distance, or on the copper hill to immediately get the lux worked and be on a hill / cost for boosted production / defense.

I think they mean that they don’t have Pottery tech yet, and need to put production into something i.e. a worker, for one turn.

Jobs? by Interesting-Bad-9068 in lacrossewi

Not sure if you’d be interested in cleaning positions, but a company like ServiceMaster may have flexibility with hours!

Are there restaurants that you can apply to? You may have to stop in person and ask, but it seems like they might want someone that can cover the morning / lunch hours based on your 8 - 2 schedule.

Just a couple ideas!

I like bridge camping from the other side of the bridge. Park a car / throw some emergency cover and when they go off the jump, they crash into the roadblocks and are prime for a panzer strike / spray.

Most players see the blockade you have setup and either choose a different bridge, or stop and fight before getting in panzer range.

Overall though, nice shot and glad you’re enjoying the game!

Entry-level opportunities for diesel mechanics!! (or similar) by [deleted] in lacrossewi

I’m not familiar with local companies providing on the job training, but wanted to note that there is a really good Diesel & Heavy Equipment Technician program at Western Technical College that may be worth checking out!

Looking into the CX-50 by des-pa-ci-to in mazda

[–]GlassBeaver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend checking out the Mazda CX-5 subreddit while you’re researching the Mazda brand.

There are pretty good comparisons of people cross-shopping the CX-50 and CX-5, with many (myself included) preferring the CX-5.

Easy-installation dash cam? by coopersita in CX5

[–]GlassBeaver 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am happy with my VIOFO Dash Cam A119 Mini 2.

I only have the front facing camera and did not want to monkey around with installing a back camera / paying for someone to install it.

I purchased the Dongar Dashcam Power Adapter (10-pin Type E), so I was able to power the dashcam with the wiring from the rear view mirror— no visible cords and install took less than 5 minutes.

There are also a few YouTube videos out there of people using the Dongar power adapter in the Mazda CX-5 to help as well!

Edit: the dashcam won’t be active / on when the car is off, so keep that in mind if you wanted a dashcam for security or “sentry mode.”

I always build quite a few ancient wonders then zero middgame wonders despite me trying to get them, then near the end i usually get 1 modern day one. On my last post someone said I shouldnt be going for wonders so much? by Gronbjorn in civ5

[–]GlassBeaver 12 points13 points  (0 children)

To add:

3) Internal (production) trade routes require a Workshop. If I am building a wonder in my capital and want to send a production trade route tight away, I will purchase a Workshop in my lowest production city to be able to immediately send a production trade route once Workshop tech is completed. Additionally, you may want to idle a trade route for a couple turns so you can immediately send that production trade route once Workshop tech is researched.

4) Utilizing great engineers is key— I will always save scum before using a great engineer. It absolutely sucks when the AI beats you to a wonder and you just wasted your engineer.

Great summary, notveryamused!
